Analysis of Action Research on Special Education Field in South Korea

이 연구의 목적은 국내 학술지에 게재된 특수교육 분야의 실행연구를 분석해 봄으로써 주요 특징과 시사점을 살펴보는 데 있다. 연구 결과, 국내 특수교육 분야의 실행연구는 목적 측면에서는 전문적 목적, 주제 측면에서는 교수·학습 관련 연구가 많았으며, 주체와 단위 측면에서는 참여자로서의 실행가와 팀 단위의 연구가 주를 이루는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 대부분의 실행연구가 반성적 순환실행에 따라 설계되어 진행되었고, 수집 자료는 참여관찰자료, 면담자료, 녹화녹음 자료, 반성적 일지 등의 질적 자료가 많았으며, 분석 방법은 특정한 분석절차에 따른 체계적 내용 분석을 활용하는 경우가 대부분이었다. 마지막으로 실행연구의 타당도를 높이기 위해 삼각검증, 구성원 검토, 전문가 검토를 사용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구를 통하여, 실행연구는 특수교육 분야의 증거기반 실제를 보완해 줄 수 있는 특수교육 현장 친화형 연구방법임을 확인할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the action researches in the field of special education published in journals in South Korea and to examine the main features and implications. The results of this study are as follows; First, there are many researches related to a professional purpose in terms of the purpose, teaching and learning in terms of the topic, and a practitioner and a team as participants in terms of the research subject. Second, the action research spiral design was the most common in the action research. Third, the collected data were the qualitative data such as the participation observation, interviews, recording, and reflection journals. Fourth the systematic content analysis as a analysis method was used the most. Finally, triangulation, member review, and expert review were used to increase the validity of the study. Through this study, it can be confirmed that the action research is a special education field - friendly research method that can supplement the evidence - based practice in the special education field.
