특수교육 보조공학 연구 동향 분석: 2010~2018년 특수교육 학술지 게재 논문을 중심으로

Analysis of Research Trends in Assistive Technology for Special Education: Focusing on Articles Published in Special Education Journals from 2010 to 2018

본 연구는 2010년 이후 최근까지 특수교육 학술지에 게재된 보조공학 관련 연구 동향을 살펴보고, 향후 연구 방향에 관한 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2010년부터 2018년까지 한국연구재단 등재 또는 등재 후보 학술지 12개에서 총 134편의 논문을 선정하여 분석하였다. 연구주제, 연구방법, 연구대상, 그리고 보조공학서비스 세부 영역으로 나누어 분석한 결과, 연구주제는 보조공학의 효과와 영향을 규명하는 중재 연구가 강화되고 있으며, 특수교육 현장에서 필요한 보조기기나 소프트웨어의 개발 적용이 시도되고 있었다. 연구방법의 분석 결과를 보면, 문헌연구와 사례연구는 감소하는 추세지만 조사연구, 실험 및 비교연구는 증가하였고, 참여 관찰 등 질적 연구와 개발연구도 증가하여 다양한 방법적 접근이 이루어지고 있었다. 연구대상의 분석 결과, 장애 학생은 물론 장애 성인 등 장애 당사자 대상의 연구가 증가하였고, 특수교사와 관련 전문가를 대상으로 한 연구도 증가하였다. 보조공학서비스 영역은 보완대체의사소통 같은 특정 분야에 연구가 집중되어 있었다. 이들 결과를 토대로 향후 특수교육에서 테크놀로지 관련 연구의 나아갈 방향을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate research trends related to assistive technology published in special education journals since 2010 and to suggest implications for future research directions. To do this, a total of 134 papers were selected from 12 journals listed by the Korea Research Foundation from 2010 to 2018. The results of this study are as follows. First, the intervention studies to identify the effects and effects of assistive technology have been strengthened, and the development of assistive technology devices and software application was attempted. As a result of research method analysis, literature research and case studies have been decreasing, but research studies, experimental and comparative studies have increased. Also qualitative studies and developmental researches such as participatory observation have increased. As a result of the study subject, the number of researches for disabled students as well as adults with disabilities increased, and the number of researches for special education teachers and related experts also increased. In the area of ​​assistive technology service, research was concentrated on specific fields such as augmentative and alternative communication. Based on these results, the future direction of the research related to technology in special education was suggested.
