부모교육이 부모효능감과 정서적 표현 변화에 미치는 효과: 교류분석에 기초한 집단상담을 중심으로

Effects of Parent Education on the Change of Maternal Efficacy and Maternal Emotional Expression: Transactional Analysis-Based Parent Education of Group Counseling

본 연구는 교류분석에 기초한 집단상담을 중심 부모교육이 부모효능감과 정서적 표현 변화에 효과적이라는 것을 밝힘으로써, 부모교육의 내용과 방법에 대한 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 유아 어머니 8명을 구성하여 주 150분 총 11회기의 부모교육을 실시하여 사전과 사후에 설문조사를 통하여 부모효능감과 정서적 표현을 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 부모교육 참여로 부모효능감은 긍정적 변화가 있었으나, 통계상의 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 정서적 표현은 강한 긍정과 약한 긍정적 표현이 증가하였고, 강한 부정 표현은 감소하였으나 약한 부정 표현은 변화가 없었다. 셋째, 부모효능감 중 어머니로서의 효능감이 높아질수록 강한 긍정과 약한 긍정 및 약한 부정이 정적변화를 보였다. 그러나 강한 부정의 변화와는 상관이 없었다. 부모효능감에서 부모로서의 불안감과 좌절감의 변화와 부모 역할에 대한 관심과 흥미의 변화는 정서적 표현 변화와 상관이 없었다. 그러므로 교류분석에 기초한 집단상담 중심 부모교육은 자녀와의 소통에서 어머니의 정서적 표현능력을 긍정적으로 변화하는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the necessity of parent education of group counseling type geared toward boosting professional-ism and the effects of parent education based on the theory of transactional analysis on the positive change of emotional expression useful for parent-child communication. It s basically meant to suggest some of the right directions for the content and method of parent education. A program was conducted in 11 sessions, and a survey was conducted before and after the program respectively to assess the maternal efficacy and emotional display of the selected mothers. The findings of the study were as follows: First, there was no change among the mothers in maternal efficacy after their participation in the parent education program. Second, as for emotional display, positive expressions were on the increase after they engaged in the activities of 11 sessions, and there was a decrease in strong negative expressions. But no change was found in weak negative expressions. Third, concerning maternal efficacy, there were more positive changes in strong affirmation, weak affirmation and weak negation when their parental efficacy became better. But that had no correlation with the change of strong negation.
