유아교육과 학생들의 ‘좋은 수업’에 대한 인식 연구

A Study on the Perception about Good Teaching among Early Childhood Education Students

본 연구는 전라남도 S시 S전문대학에 재학 중인 유아교육과 학생들을 대상으로, 이들이 인식하는 좋은 수업에 대한 생각을 들여다보고자 하였다. 연구방법으로는 좋은 수업에 대한 인식과 이미지를 살펴보는데 적합한 은유분석 방법을 활용하였다. 연구결과, 학생들이 인식하는 좋은 수업은 ‘도서관, 제철음식, 뉴스, 가방, 손전등’ 등으로 은유되는 ‘인지적으로 남는 수업’, ‘보조개, 장난감, 재미있는 놀이, 웃음’ 등의 ‘흥미와 즐거움이 넘치는 행복한 수업’, ‘카페, 친구, 손뼉, 신발 한 쌍, 떡을 만드는 것’의 ‘상호작용이 발현되는 수업’, ‘논술시험, 종이, 피아노’ 등으로 은유되는 ‘생각을 존중해 주는 수업’, ‘무지개 색깔, 과학자, 정해지지 않는 틀’ 등의 ‘다양한 교수방법이 적용되는 수업’, ‘견학, 소풍, 아이’ 등으로 은유되는 ‘몸으로 체험하는 수업’ 등으로 범주화되었다. 즉, 학생들은 교수자의 수업에 대한 끊임없는 자기개발과 학생들의 생각을 존중하며, 소통이 발현되는 수업을 좋은 수업으로 인식하고 있었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로, 좋은 수업을 실현하기 위해 교수자들이 어떠한 노력을 경주해 나가야 하는지에 관해 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the perceptions of ‘good teaching’ in early childhood education students attending S college in S city, Jeollanam-do. Metaphor analysis was used for this study’s method, which is suitable for the recognition of the good teaching and its images. As a result of the study, the students have been taught cognitively to be metaphorical to the library, seasonal food, news, bag and flashlight, happy classes full of interest and fun to be metaphorical to dimple, toy, fun play and laughter, interactive classes to be metaphorical to cafe, friends, clap, pair of shoes and rice cake making, instruction respecting thought to be metaphorical to essay test, paper and piano, classes with various teaching methods applied to be metaphorical to rainbow colors, scientists, and the undecided frame, body experience classes to be metaphorical to field trip, picnic, children. Students recognized the constant self-development of the professor, respect for the students thoughts, and the class in which communication was expressed as a good teaching. The results of this study suggested what the professors are required to do in order to achieve the ‘good teaching’.
