도시 고층공동주택의 외장색채 개선을 위한 연구

A Study For improving exterior color plan of high-rise Apartment in urban area

도시에 지어지는 공동주택들은 점점 고층화되어 도시 경관에 미치는 영향력이 크다. 규모뿐만 아니라 높이로 인해 도시의 스카이라인을 변화시키고 원경에서도 조망되며 거대한 오브제군으로 위압적인 인상을 갖기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 고층 공동주택이 갖는 위압감과 차폐감을 건축물입면에 대해 색채의 속성, 배색방법 등 색채계획을 활용하여 완화하는 방법에 대해 알아보았다. 결과적으로 공동주택의 저층부와 고층부는 도시 내에서 각각 다른 역할을 하며 때문에 각자에 맞는 색채계획이 필요하다. 저충부는 근린생활환경의 배경으로서 활기 있고 휴먼스케일에 맞는 가로를 형성하기 위한 색채계획이 필요하며 고층부는 하늘을 가리는 도시의 배경으로서 차폐감을 감소할 수 있는 계획이 필요하다. 저층부는 매스분절, 입면 분할 등을 통해 휴먼스케일이 맞고 활기있는 환경을 형성해야 하고, 고층부는 색채선정 시 우리나라 환경에서 도출한 색채를 선택하고 유사배색함으로써 시인성과 유목성 등을 낮추어 건축물로 인한 차폐감을 감소시킬 수 있다.

Apartment housing in urban area becomes having huge influence on urban cityscape as getting higher. It looks overwhelming as a gigantic bunch of things, changes a skyline of city and is seen from faraway because of its height as well as size. In this paper, I tried to figure out a mitigation of the sense of blockade and overwhelming using color planning method, such as attributes of color or color scheme, on the facade of buildings. As a result, low part and high part of an apartment housing building paly different roles, so each of them is supposed to be treated different way of color planning. Low part as a background of neighborhood requires a color plan for lively and humanized street. On the otherhand, high part as a background of city, blocking sky, needs a plan to reduce a fence-like feeling. The low part could make a vivid and friendly street by mass segmentation or dividing plane, and the sense of blockage of the high part could be eased by harmonized color scheme, such as tone in tone or camaïeu, based on environmental colors of Korean nature.
