Trend Analysis of Research with ICT-based Counseling Intervention

본 연구는 국내의 정보통신기술을 활용한 상담의 기존 연구를 분석하여 정보통신기술을 활용한 상담의 연구동향을 파악하고, 이를 기초로 상담과정에서 정보통신기술을 활용하는 방안에 대해 전망하고자 한다. 본 연구를 위하여 PC와 모바일 기기를 이용한 인터넷 웹기반 상담 개입과 프로그램, 가상현실 및 증강현실 기술을 이용한 상담과 심리치료를 정보통신기술을 활용한 상담으로 정의하였다. 정보통신기술을 활용한 상담을 주제로 2017년까지 학술지에 발표된 총 96편의 논문을 대상으로 연구대상, 연구주제, 활용기술, 정보통신기술을 활용한 개입방법에 초점을 두어 연구동향을 분석하였다. 이를 위한 통계처리는 빈도분석과 교차분석이 사용되었다. 분석결과 연구대상으로는 청소년이 가장 많았고, 연구주제로는 성과가 가장 많았다. 상담에 활용된 정보통신기술은 2000년대 초반에는 인터넷이 주로 활용되었으나 2016년 이후에는 인터넷, 모바일, 가상현실 등의 기술이 다양하게 활용되었다. 정보통신기술을 활용한 상담 개입방법으로는 게시판 상담과 프로그램이 가장 많았다. 프로그램으로 개입한 경우에는 가상현실 기술이 가장 많이 활용되었다. 이러한 연구결과가 지니는 의미를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 정보통신기술을 활용한 상담 개입은 실시간 상호작용, 이용기회의 확대와 접근의 용이성, 감성 컴퓨팅 기술의 구현, 가상현실 기술을 통한 현재성 등의 특징을 바탕으로 꾸준히 증가할 것이라고 전망할 수 있다. 이러한 상황에서 정보통신기술 기반의 상담 프로그램에 대한 검증이 필요하다. 그래서 정보통신기술을 활용하여 상담효과를 높일 수 있는 상담이론 및 상담요소에 대한 탐색이 진행되어야 한다.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze the existing research on the ICT-based counseling. Methods: for this study, counseling and psychotherapy using the internet, mobile devices, virtual reality and augmented reality technology were defined as the ICT-based counseling. Results: In the early 2000s, the internet was the main tool for using the information and communication technology in counseling. After 2016, various technologies such as the internet, mobile, and virtual reality have been used. The most common method of the ICT-based counseling was bulletin board counseling and software programs. About software programs, virtual reality technology was used the most. Conclusion: Based on these, the following conclusions are drawn. We expect that the ICT-based counseling will steadily increase considering the features of it, such as real-time interaction, expansion of access opportunities and ease of access, and implementation of emotional computing technology through virtual reality technology. Considering the current trends, it is necessary to verify the ICT based counseling programs. Therefore, we need further research on counseling theories and programs using the information and communication technology to maximize counseling effect.
