상담지속 연구에 대한 고찰: 국내 연구 중심으로

Research on Counseling Continuance: A Review of Studies Published in South Korea

본 연구는 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)에 게재된 상담지속 연구들을 분석함으로써 국내 상담학에서의 상담지속 연구의 동향을 파악함과 동시에, 상담지속 영향을 미치는 요인들이 무엇인지 확인하고 앞으로 중점을 두어야 할 연구 방향을 확인하는 데 있다. 상담지속을 주제로 한 국내 학술지 및 학위논문 7편을 대상으로 내용분석 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 발행연도별 상담지속 연구 논문 수는 2000년대 증가 추세를 보이다가 2010년대에 감소했다. 둘째, 연구 대상을 분석한 결과, 내담자를 대상으로 한 연구가 전체 연구 중 51.57%로 가장 큰 비율을 차지했다. 셋째, 주제별 동향을 살펴본 결과, 상담지속에 영향을 미치는 요소는 내담자 요인, 상담자 요인, 상담자와 내담자 관계, 매체영향, 기타로 나누어 확인할 수 있었다. 넷째, 연구방법은 7편 중 4편이 양적연구이다. 끝으로 상담지속 연구 분석 결과를 바탕으로 연구에 대한 논의 및 앞으로의 연구에 대한 제언을 추가하였다.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify factors influencing on the clients’ decision making on having further counseling sessions after the first contact with the counselors and to suggest questions for further research. Methods: For this purpose, this study analyze 7 counseling continuance studies that published on Research Information Sharing Service(RISS). Results: The main results of this study are as follows: First, the number of counseling continuance research has been decreased during 2010’s following increase between 2000 and 2010. Second, based on analysis of study subject, the study of client accounted for the largest percentage of the total study, with 51.57%. Third, Factors affecting the continuance of counseling could be identified such as client, counselor factor, counselor and client, media impact, and so on. Fourth, there are four quantitative studies among seven. Conclusions: Despite of importance of Counseling continuance, researches has not been studying abundant. 7 studies figured out which factors impact on counseling continuance. As virgin counseling affect counseling relation and continuance, should be studied in further research.
