맞춤형 실험실 안전기자재 개발 시의 문제점과 개선방안

Problems and Improvements in Development of Customized Laboratory Safety Equipment

다양한 연구들이 진행되고 있는 바이오, 화학, 제약 등의 많은 연구실험실에서는 생물안전작업대, 무균대, 배기작업대 등 기성 실험실 안전기자재가 비치되어 있다. 그러나 대부분의 연구자들은 기존의 기성 안전기자재를 사용함에 있어 불편함을 호소하고 있다. 왜냐하면 기존 안전기자재는 연구의 독특한 특성을 모두 고려할 수 없기 때문이다. 이런 이유로 연구자들은 자신들의 연구특성에 적합한 맞춤형 안전기자재의 개발을 요구하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 개인 니즈를 반영한 제품개발에는 정확한 요구사항의 전달 및 반영이 꼭 전제되어야 한다. 니즈부분의 전달 잘못으로 개인의 연구목적에 맞지 않는 제품 선정이나 원하지 않는 제품의 납품이 되는 경우가 있기 때문이다. 실제 실험실 안전기자재를 생산하고 있는 C사에서는 이러한 일들이 자주 발생하여 많은 비용지출과 기업이미지 추락을 경험하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실험실 안전기자재 생산 시 고객의 요구사항을 제대로 반영하지 못해 발생하는 여러 가지 부작용을 사전에 예방하고자 3D 모델링과 3D 프린터 활용방법을 제안한다. 또한 기업의 생산성을 향상시키고자 모듈생산 방식을 도입하고 그 기대효과를 분석한다.

Many research laboratories such as biotechnology, chemistry, and pharmaceuticals, which are undergoing various studies, are equipped with ready-made laboratory safety equipments such as bio-safety workbenches, aseptic bases, and exhaust workbenches. However, most researchers are disadvantaged in using existing safety equipment. This is because existing safety equipment can not take into account all of the unique characteristics of the research. For this reason, researchers are demanding the development of customized safety equipment that is well suited to their research needs. However, the development of products that reflect these individual needs must precisely convey and reflect precise requirements. This is because the wrong delivery of the needs part may lead to product selection or delivery of unwanted products that do not fit the individual s research purpose. A company C that produces real lab safety equipment, these things happen frequently and are experiencing a lot of cost and corporate image collapse. In this study, we propose 3D modeling and 3D printer using method to prevent various side effects that may occur due to failure to properly reflect customer s requirements when producing laboratory safety equipment. Also, the module production method is introduced to improve the productivity of the company and the expected effect is analyzed.
