학교 문화예술교육 서비스 품질 측정과 교육 효과에 관한 연구

A Study on the Measurement and Effectiveness of Culture and Arts Education Service in Secondary Schools

우리나라 문화예술교육은 학교 문화예술교육을 중심으로 꾸준하게 양적 성장을 이뤄왔다. 하지 만 이러한 양적 성장에도 불구하고 질적인 측면에 대한 개선의 목소리가 끊이지 않고 있다. 본 연 구는 학교 문화예술교육의 질적 향상을 위해 수요자 중심의 서비스 품질 요인을 규명하고, 각 품 질 요인들이 학생 만족에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 더 나아가 학교 문화예술교육의 성과라 볼 수 있는 교육 효과와의 영향 관계를 실증적으로 검증하였다. 연구 결과 학교 문화예술교육 서비스 품질의 요인은 3가지 차원으로 구성된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이후 품질 요인과 학생 만족과의 관계를 분석한 결과에 의하면 물리적 환경을 제외한 나머지 요인들은 학생 만족에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학생 만족 또한 학교 문화예술교육 효과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 다. 이러한 실증 분석을 통해 학교 문화예술교육 서비스 품질이 향상되면 학생 만족이 증가되고, 학생 만족의 증가는 학교 문화예술교육이 궁극적으로 달성하고자 하는 성과인 교육 효과의 향상 까지 이어지는 것을 확인하였다. 이에 본 연구는 학교 문화예술교육의 효과를 향상 시킬 수 있는 수요자 중심의 서비스 품질 측정 모형을 제시하고, 실증적으로 확인하였다는 것에 의의가 있다.

By concentrating on culture and arts education in secondary schools, Korean culture and arts education has successfully increased its size quantitatively. Contrary to this success, demands on the need of qualitative improvements are being made continuously. On this behalf, the purpose of this paper is to seek the proper service quality model for culture and arts education in secondary schools by approaching from the perspective of the user of the service and to verify how each qualitative factors affect students’satisfaction and have an effect on educational values. The study shows that the service quality is consisted of three dimensions; all factors in those three dimensions (except physical environment) affect students’satisfaction; the students’satisfaction affects the whole effectiveness of culture and arts education in secondary schools. From this analysis, this paper verifies that the improvement in the service quality increases students’satisfaction and leads to an improvement in effectiveness of education as a consequence.
