학교문화 개념분석 연구

A Study on Analysis of conceptions of the School Culture

본 연구는 현재 우리나라에 존재하는 학교문화담론을, 학교문화의 개념, 구성요소 및 특징 등으로 분석․고찰하고 기존연구에서 제시하고 있지 못하는 학교문화개념을 제안하여 새로운 연구가 가능해질 수 있는 분석적 범주의 제시를 목적으로 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 질적연구에서 통상적으로 사용되는 내용분석방법에 기초하여 2000년에서 2015년까지의 학교문화 관련 국내 등재(등재후보) 학술지에 수록된 90편의 논문을 분석대상 텍스트로 최종 선정하여 내용검토가 이루어졌다. 그 결과 교육분야에서의 문화연구들이 조직적 관점에서의 접근, 교사문화에 대한 인류학적 접근, 그리고 수업상황과 관련된 교육과정적 접근 등 다양한 접근을 통해 학교문화 개념과 연관시켜왔음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 기존연구물들이 학교문화개념을 조직문화적 차원, 구성 주체적 차원, 상호작용의 차원 등에서 다양하게 이루어지고 있다는 점도 확인할 수 있었다. 그 결과 기존의 학교문화연구가 조직문화 관점에서 학교문화를 바라보는 담론, 학교의 구성주체 관점에서 학교문화를 바라보는 담론, 상호작용 관점에서의 학교문화 담론으로 구분될 수 있었음이 확인되었다. 하지만 최근 학교혁신, 혁신학교, 배움의 공동체 등과 관련하여 현장을 들여다 볼 수 있는 새로운 이론적 렌즈가 필요한 바 기존의 학교문화 개념에 기초한 분석적 범주로는 학교문화연구를 하는데 한계를 가질 수 밖에 없다. 이에 학교의 분위기, 공간, 리듬, 의례, 친교 등에 바탕을 둔 문화적 접근은 새로운 연구의 방향을 설정하는데 큰 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

The purpose of this study is after analyzing the concepts, components and features of the school cultures present in the school culture discourse, then it would consider as a critical concept that proposes a new school culture to contemporary needs. The research method used in this study is content analysis and explore various perspectives of the school s cultural discourse(concepts, components, characteristics). There are discourse overlooking the school culture, discourse overlooking the school culture in terms of school subjects configuration, discourse in terms interaction from organizational culture perspective. School culture concept is divided into cognitive perspective, behavior standpoint, interaction perspective, causal standpoint in studies looking at the school organizational culture to school culture. Components of school culture is very diverse, but most often mentioned components from the preceding study philosophy, values, ideas, expectations, attitudes, norms and beliefs in the study looking at the culture school in terms of organizational culture. Concept of teachers culture, there are behavior standpoint, the structural point of view, cultural perspectives in the study looking at the configuration point of view as a school culture. In interaction terms, class culture is a subculture of school culture which refers to a culture inherent in the teaching takes place in the school include all behaviors associated with the class. It would be needed to explores about school culture for discussion of school culture.
