통일한국을 위한 남북한 음악교육의 비교연구

The Comparative study on Music education in the south and north Korea for the Unified Korea in the future

본 연구의 목적은 남북한의 음악교육을 비교하여 통일한국사회의 음악교육이 나아갈 방향에 대하여 탐색하는 것이다. 남북한 음악교육의 공통점은, 남북한이 민족주의교육과 전인교육을 추구하고, 음악교육에서 인간의 가치 있고 보람 있는 아름다움을 찾을 수 있는 기초지식과 능력을 키워주는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다는 점이다. 차이점으로는, 남한은 민주주의 교육이념을, 북한은 사회주의와 주체사상을 이념적 기초로 수령과 당에 충직한 공산주의 혁명가를 양성하는 데 둔다. 또한 음악형식에 있어 우리는 유절가곡 형식이라는 용어를 사용하며, 북한음악의 기본형식은 절가형식으로 완결된 선율이 반복되면서 가사 내용의 변화발전에 따라 형상이 전개되어간다. 인성교육에 있어서 우리는 자유롭고 개방적인 방법에 의하지만, 북한은 계획적이고 체계적인 방법으로 의도하는 목적을 달성하고 있어 음악교육의 철학과 목적에 있어서 서로 접근이 어려운 점을 보게 된다. 하나의 민족으로서 이해와 화합을 추구하는 공동체의식을 심어주는 음악교육의 통합을 위해 남북한 두 교육체제 사이에 깔려있는 대립과 갈등의 관계를 없애고 사회통합과 상호보완의 관계를 가능하게 하는 음악교육의 통합은 중요한 과제가 된다.

The major goals of this study is to compare the music education in the south and north Korea for the Unified Korea in the future. The results, there were some significant differences fer between the two. And I discovered several common grounds for purposes of the philosophy and approaches in musical education. Priority, the common grounds of the musical education in the south and north Korea are as follows: First, both pursuit expanding opportunities in the nationalism and whole-person education while defending the open system in the south and north Korea for educational purposes. The next is that the pursuit of such improvement and purification of human emotion through musical education. Finally, both influenced the Confucianism and 36 years of Japanese colonial education in colonial times due to the historical experiences. Next, The differences are as follows: First, the South Korea s philosophy of musical education is based on democracy, but the north Korea s philosophy of musical education is based on the Socialism and self-reliance ideology. Second, the goal of musical education is training the human dignity and reason in South Korea, but the goal of musical education is to cultivate a loyal communist revolutionary leader and the party in the north Korea. Third, there are so many differences between even the use of musical items. Finally, we depend on free and open way in growing character education, but they are effective in achieving the intended objectives because of a planned and systematic way. We must save the benefits which the two Koreas are having, and the other hands we have to overcome the differences that in music education.
