창의·인성교육을 위한 예술동아리 특화모델 개발연구

A study on the development of specialized managing models for school arts clubs to strengthen character education

이 연구는 학교폭력을 예방, 근절시키려는 교육적 노력의 일환으로, 청소년의 자발적이고 긍정적인 에너지를 예술 활동을 통해 활성화함으로써 건전한 인성을 기르는 방안을 제시하는데 일차적인 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 전국에서 선정된 예술 동아리에 대한 사례 연구와 이론적 논의를 진행하였고, 이를 통해 중학교 예술 동아리의 운영 현황을 이해하고, 예술 동아리 활동의 가치와 중요성을 밝혀내어, 예술 동아리를 활성화할 수 있는 특화모델을 개발, 제안하였다. 예술동아리 특화모델은 동아리의 자발성 정도와 환경적 요인을 고려하여 학생들의 개별적 능력과 적성 발견에 중점을 둔 융합형, 지역, 학교 등 환경을 고려한 맞춤형 지도에 중점을 둔 특화형, 복합적인 창의성을 신장시키는 데 중점을 둔 심화형으로 구분하였다. 이 특화모델은 각 교육현장의 현실 상황을 존중하되 자발성을 기초로 창의인성을 계발, 육성하는데 기여하는 방향에서 개발된 것으로 첫째, 교육 현장에서 이루어지고 있는 동아리 활동에 대한 진단 도구로 활용될 수 있고 둘째, 동아리를 어떻게 활성화시킬 수 있을지 지원 방향을 구체화할 수 있으며 셋째, 창의인성 교육에서 예술 동아리가 갖는 중요성을 인식하고 이를 활성화하기 위한 노력을 기울이는 촉진제 역할을 할 수 있을 것이다.

This study is a social effort to prevent and eliminate school violence. The purpose of the study is about presenting a model for teenagers/youth to express their voluntary and positive energy through creative art activities and to become healthy members of society. Based on the study. first of all, current situations of art clubs in middle schools were understood; secondly, value and importance of art clubs was revealed; and thirdly, a specialized model was developed and presented in order to vitalize art groups. The specialized model consists of three types. 1) A blended type focuses on discovering teenager s individual ability and aptitude in consideration of the degree of willingness/spontaneity and environmental factors. 2) A individualized coaching type focuses on individualized coaching based on environmental characteristics such as a region or a school. 3) A concentrated type focuses on improving complex creativity. This specialized model can be used as a tool to evaluate art group activities in educational fields, to embody the direction of support for the revitalization of art groups; and to play a catalytic role in acknowledging the importance of art groups and revitalizing them in education with creativity and character.
