문화인지로서의 그림책 공간 읽기 : 몸으로 체험하는 그림책 공간

본 논문은 그림책이라는 물리적 비물리적 파생공간에 대한 이해를 통해, 새로운 문화인지, 문화예술 공간으로서의 그림책의 특성과 새로운 공간적 구성, 나아가 진정한 문화인지 그림책 공간 경험을 위한 방안을 모색해 보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 우선 공간에 대한 다양한 담론을 통해 문화인지로서의 그림책 공간이 지니는 새로운 의미를 발견, 제시하고자 하였다. 그리고 이를 토대로 그림책 공간에서 인간이 경험하게 되는 다양한 지각적 심리적 현상과 기제를 추출 분석하였다. 실재와 가상, 증강 현실, 2차원 표상에 대한 지각과 이해, 또 그림책 공간에서의 운동과 에너지, 그리고 그림책과 독자 사이에 구성되는 새로운 공간 출현 분석 등을 통해 지금까지의 그림책에 대한 장르적 이해를 넘어서는 새로운 이해 국면의 제시, 폭넓은 공간의 인식과 공간 체험의 가능성을 열어보고자 하였다. 그리고 마지막으로 새로운 문화인지 공간, 문화예술교육의 공간으로서의 진정한 그림책 경험을 위한 방안으로 ‘몸으로 경험하는 그림책 읽기’를 제안하면서 독자의 감각과 지각의 인식과 확장, 통합에 대한 미래적 전망을 논의하였다.

This paper aims to explore the characteristics of picturebook as a derived learning spaces in cultural artistic context and to seek a methodology for authentic experiencing in picturebook spaces. For this purpose, there were firstly described various perspectives in terms of concept of space and the sense of space and found new meaning of picturebook spaces. Then there were analysed various perceptual phenomena such as reality and virtuality, augmented reality, 2-dimensional understanding, sense of movement in picturebook, emergent spaces between picturebook and reader and investigated the origins and mechanisms of reader s responses. All of them was to open possibilities of new recognitions about picturebook spaces out of mere understanding of the genre. In discussion, reading picturebook with body was suggested as a new view and a methodology for authentic experiencing of picturebook as a derived and living spaces. In addition it was also discussed some implications with respect to the extension and integration as well as recognition of reader s sensation and perception from cultuĝnitive view.
