뮤지엄 초등교사 연수 프로그램 분석과 만족도 조사

An analysis and satisfaction with teacher training program for elementary museum education

문화의 시대를 맞이하여 우리나라의 뮤지엄의 관람객이 폭발적으로 증가하고 있으나, 학교 연계 뮤지엄교육은 제대로 자리매김 되지 않고 있다. 이는 뮤지엄을 활용한 학교 연계 학습을 담당하는 교사들을 위한 연수의 중요성은 더욱 더 커지는 이유이다. 본 연구는 현재 실시하고 있는 대표적인 초등교사 뮤지엄교육 연수프로그램의 현황을 살펴보고 개선 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대표적인 국내 뮤지엄(국립중앙박물관, 국립현대미술관, 국립민속박물관, 리움삼성미술관)의 교사 연수 프로그램의 현황을 살펴보고, 분석을 통해서 뮤지엄 초등교사 연수 프로그램의 내용을 살펴보며 개선 방안에 대하여 논의하였다. 뮤지엄 초등교사 연수 프로그램이 현장과 실제적인 연계성을 높이기 위해 내용적인 측면에서 슐만의 PCK를 바탕으로 분석했으며, 미술관, 박물관 교사연수 프로그램을 수료한 교사들의 만족도를 조사, 분석을 통하여 뮤지엄 초등교사 연수 프로그램 내용의 개선방안을 도출하였다. 본 연구에서는 뮤지엄 초등교사 연수 프로그램이 초등학교 현장에서 교사들이 필요한 내용이 될 수 있도록 서로 간의 연계성을 더 강화시킬 수 있는 방안을 교사 연수 프로그램의 내용적 측면에서 국내 뮤지엄 초등교사 연수 프로그램을 분석하고, 개선방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the state of teacher training programs offered by the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Museum of Korea, the National Folk Museum of Korea and LEEUM, which was Samsung Museum of Art, and their training schedules in a bid to analyze the training programs of the art galleries and museums. Their training programs were found not to be practical and feasible enough due to a lack of connections between them and schools, and their training programs were especially analyzed according to Schulman s PCK(pedagogical content knowledge) to seek how to make art gallery/museum-based teacher training programs differentiated from general education programs and contribute to the enhancement of teacher professionalism. In order for art galleries and museums to serve as a place for not only the collection and conservation of relics but education, elementary teacher training programs offered by them should be designed to be closely linked to school education.
