직장어린이집 교사의 임파워먼트와 행복감, 자아존중감이 영유아 권리존중보육에 미치는 영향

The empowerment, happiness and self-esteem of employer-supported childcare teachers’influence on the right respect care for infants and children

본 연구는 직장어린이집 교사의 개인 변인에 따른 영유아 권리존중보육의 차이와 임파워먼트와 행복감, 자아존중감이 영유아 권리존중보육에 미치는 영향을 알아봄으로써 직장어린이집에서 효과적으로 영유아의 권리를 존중할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 따라 서울, 경기, 인천 지역에 위치한 직장어린이집에 재직 중인 보육교사 209명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 t-검정과 일원변량분석, 다중회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 직장어린이집 교사의 경력, 근무기관의 학급 수, 담당 영유아의 수에 따라 영유아 권리존중보육 수준에 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 직장어린이집 교사의 임파워먼트, 행복감, 자아존중감이 영유아 권리존중보육에 정적인 영향을 주었다. 즉 직장어린이집 교사의 임파워먼트와 행복감, 자아존중감이 높을수록 영유아의 하루일과 존중 실행과 아동 최선의 이익을 위한 보육에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 이 연구의 결과는 직장어린이집 교사의 임파워먼트와 행복감, 자아존중감을 높이면서 직장어린이집에서 영유아 권리존중보육이 더욱 향상되는데 기틀을 제공할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in the right respect care for infants and children according to the individual background variables of employer-supported childcare teachers. It is also to examine the effects of empowerment, happiness, and self-esteem on the right respect care for infants and children. Such findings will be the cornerstone for finding ways to effectively respect the rights of infants and children. The subjects of this study were 209 teachers who work in employer-supported childcare centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon. t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were performed for data analysis. First, there was a difference in the level of the right respect care for infants and children according to the teacher career, the number of class, and the number of infant and child. Second, the empowerment, happiness and self-esteem were all major predictors of positive effects on rights respect care. The results of this study are expected to provide a framework for the improvement of childcare for right respect for infants while enhancing the empowerment, happiness and self-esteem of employer-supported childcare teachers.
