3.11동일본대진재 이후 일본 진재문학에서의 사생관 연구 -이토 세이코(いとうせいこう)의 『상상라디오(想像ラジオ)』를 중심으로-

A Study on a View on Life and Death in Japanese Disaster Literature after the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake -Focusing on Ito Seiko’s 『Imagination Radio』-

본고에서는 3.11 이후 발표된 진재문학 작품 중 이토 세이코의 『상상라디오』에서 나타나는 사생관과 더불어 이토가 작품을 통해 말하고자 한 것이 무엇이었는지 살펴보았다. 『상상라디오』의 사생관은 야나기타 구니오의 유명론, 산중타계관, 조령신앙을 받아들이고 있으며, 이토는 이를 바탕으로 죽은 자의 세계를 파악했다. 등장인물 DJ 아크와 작가 S씨를 통해 죽은 자의 세계와 산 자의 세계를 각각 그려내고 있으며, 상상을 통해 이들의 세계를 연결하고자 했다. 또한 이토는 죽은 자와 산 자가 함께 살아가며 미래를 만드는 공생의 세계를 만들어야 한다고 말하고 있는데, 이는 3.11 직후 힘내라! 일본 과 같은 슬로건을 내걸고 부흥만을 외치며 죽은 자를 망각해가는 일본 사회에 던지는 이토의 비판이자 미래를 제시하는 메시지인 것이다.

This paper looked into a view on life and death in Ito Seiko’s 『Imagination Radio』 among the works of Disaster Literature published after the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake, and what Ito wanted to say through his work. The view on life and death appeared in 『Imagination Radio』 accepts Yanagita Kunio’s the present and the other world theory, mountain death and hell thought, and ancestor religious belief―Ito has grasped the world of the dead based on these ideas. The work portrays the world of the dead and the world of the living through the character DJ Ark and the writer Mr. S, and Ito connects each world through the imagination. Ito also says that it is needed to make this world as a symbiotic world, where the dead and the living mingle and create the future together. Thus, it is a message that suggests the future as well as criticism of Ito in Japanese society; which is forgetting the deceased by calling out slogans like ‘Gambare! Nippon’ and shouting only for the revival of Japan.
