무용에서의 문화적 역량

Cultural Competence in Dance

본 연구는 무용에서의 문화적 역량 요소를 알아보기 위해 FGI(Focus Group Interview)를 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 무용에서의 문화적 역량은 대중성, 문화 수준 향상, 프로의식, 삶의 질 향상(여가시간 활용), 사회성 등이다. 둘째, 무용에서의 문화적 역량의 구성요소는 아름다움, 다양성, 전통성, 신체표현성, 창의성 등이다. 셋째, 무용현장에서 요구되는 문화적 역량은 전통문화에 대한 교육적 가치, 접근성, 전문 인력 양성, 바른 교육, 재미 등이다. 넷째, 세계화에 요구되는 무용의 문화적 역량은 정체성 찾기, 독창성, 전문성, 무용여건과 제도 조성, 독창성 등이다. 다섯째, 무용에서의 문화적 역량의 구성요소들을 지식, 기술, 태도 등으로 나누면 아래와 같다. 1) 지식 : 무용에서의 문화적 역량의 구성요소 중 지식을 대표하는 것으로 전인교육/바른 교육, 사회성, 무용예술교육, 전통성, 아름다움(미적능력), 전문성/전문 프로그램 개발 등이다. 2) 기술 : 무용에서의 문화적 역량의 구성요소 중 기술을 대표하는 것으로 신체표현/표현력, 창의성/창작활동, 감성적 능력, 다양성 등이다. 3) 태도 : 무용에서의 문화적 역량의 구성요소 중 태도를 대표하는 것으로 대중성/사회성, 수용성/포용성, 다양한 교수법, 책임의식, 삶의 질 향상 등이다.

The study aims to examine cultural competence in dance using FGI(Focus Group Interview) with 7 people who are dancers and dance educators. According to the results, first, cultural competence in dance is popularity and elevating the standard of culture: Second, elements of cultural competence in dance are beauty and variety: Third, cultural competence in dance field is educational value of traditional culture and easy approach: Forth, cultural competence in dance for globalization is finding identification and originality: Fifth, dividing of cultural competence in dance into three categories are knowledge, skill, and attitude. Education for the whole man and sociality belong to knowledge, expression and creativity belong to skill, and popularity and acceptance belong to attitude.
