고등학교 오페라 감상곡의 분석 및 감상교육의 실태조사 - 고등학교 1·2학년을 중심으로 -

A Study of Opera Listening Education for High School Students

본 연구는 음악과 학습내용에 있어 학습내용에 주된 자료가 되고 있는 음악교과서 오페라 감상곡과 제재곡을 분석하고, 제7차 교육과정 하에 음악교육을 받은 고등학교 1·2학년 학생의 설문조사를 통해 오페라 감상교육의 실태를 파악하는 것이 목적이다. 오페라 제재곡이나 감상곡에 대한 뚜렷한 기준이 없이 저자의 임의대로 선정하였으며 낭만파 시대의 작품이 많았다. 학생들은 오페라에 대하여 비교적 잘 알고 있다고 응답 하였고 주로 학교를 통하여 오페라를 감상하였으며 좀 더 다양한 학습활동과 충분한 설명과 함께 흥미롭게 감상하기를 원했다.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the 8 text books opera listening area and investigate opera listening education for high school students through survey. The subjects of this study were 400 high school students (200 first grade students and 200 second grade students). The research was conducted from July 2nd to 10th in 2007. The questionnaires in the survey were classified into the two areas: the students opera listening experiences and opera listening education at school. According th the research, 70% of the students already had knowledges about opera. Most of students still had a chance to listen to opera through schools. 58.5% students were satisfied with listening opera at school. However, 29.5% students responded listening opera to boring and difficult. They do not know exactly what to listen and how to listen. Therefore, teachers should provide enough informations and use various teaching methods for better opera music education.
