매체미학연구에서 바라보는 예술교육

Art Education from the Viewpoint of Media aesthetics

이 논문은 매체미학, 루만의 체계 이론적 예술 커뮤니케이션 이론 그리고 플루서의 매체이론에 기초해 예술교육의 과제를 다룬다. 우선 매체 미학적 관점에서 볼 때 예술의 매체는 창조된 매체/형식이 맺는 관계들의 자유로움을 허용한다. 예술의 커뮤니케이션관 에서 보는 예술교육은 예술의 창조와 관찰에 필요한 차별기준을 학습하고 훈련시키는 과제를 가지고 있다. 또한 예술교육은 예술작품을 관찰할 때마다 반복적으로 작동하는 맹점, 곧 차별기준의 불완전성을 인정하는 데 역점을 두어야 한다. 더 나아가 예술교육은 예술가가 자신을 자신의 작품에서 분리해 관조할 수 있는 능력을 개발하고, 작품의 관찰 자가 예술작품에서 어떤 것이 보이고 어떤 것이 보이지 않게 남겨져 있는지를 인식하는 방법을 학습하는 데 주력해야 한다.

This study attempts to deal with the problems of art education from the viewpoint of media aesthetics, art communication by Luhmann s system theory and Flusser s media theory. First of all, from the viewpoint of media aesthetics, the media of art permit the freedom of connections which are formed by the created medium/form. The art education from the viewpoint of art communication has a task to study and to practice the difference standard for creating and observing of art. Also the art education should make an effort to recognize the blind spot, namely the imperfect characteristic of difference standard which operates recursively. Furthermore, the art education should concentrate its efforts to develop the ability which the artist separates himself from his work and contemplates himself, and to study the method to recognize what is seen and what remains as unseen for the observer.
