텍스트 마이닝과 언어네트워크 분석을 활용한 국외 ‘교사교육자’ 연구 동향 분석

Research Trend of ‘Teacher Educators’ in Aboard by Using Text Mining and Semantic Network Analysis

본 연구의 목적은 “교사교육자(teacher educators)”를 주제어로 2008년부터 2018년까지 Web of Science 데이터베이스에서 수록된 국제 학술지에 게재된 연구논문들을 텍스트 마이닝과 언어네트워크 분석을 활용하여 연구 동향을 파악함으로써 한국 교사교육자 연구 발전을 위하여 시사점을 얻고자 한다. 연구대상은 WoB에 검색된 452편 논문이다. 수집된 자료를 분석하기 위하여 BICOMB2.0, UCINET 6과 NetDraw 프로그램을 활용하였으며, 키워드 출현 빈도 및 백분율을 도출하였고, 언어네트워크의 구조적 특성(밀도, 중심성 등)을 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 키워드 출현빈도는 teacher educators(124), teacher education(116), professional development(71), teacher identity(42), international study(32) 등의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 주요 키워드 간의 언어네트워크의 밀도는 0.2852이고, 표준편차(SD)는 0.4515이다. 언어네트워크 특징을 파악하기 위하여 연결 중심성, 근접 중심성, 매개 중심성 값을 확인하였다. 교사교육자를 통합적인 관점으로 보고 더 많은 관심을 기울여야 한다.

The main purpose of this study is to figure out research trends of research papers published in international journals from 2008 to 2018 in the Web of Science database under the theme of teacher educators and obtain implications for the development of Korean teacher educators research by using text mining and semantic network analysis. The analysis objects in this study are 452 papers searched in WoB. And we used BICOMB2.0, UCINET 6, and NetDraw programs to analyze the collected data, the frequency and percentages of keyword emergence were derived, and the structural characteristics (density, centrality, etc.) of the semantic network were analyzed. The analysis results are as follows: Firstly, the frequency of keywords appearing was in the order of teacher educators (124), teacher educators (116), professional development (71), teacher identity (42), and international study (32). Secondly, the density of the semantic network between major keywords is 0.2852 and the standard deviation (SD) is 0.4515. To identify semantic network characteristics, values of degree centrality, closeness centrality, and between centrality were identified. We should look at teacher educators from an integrated perspective and pay more attention.
