액션러닝기반 학업효능감이 성인학습자의 문제해결력, 대인관계, 문제해결태도에 미치는 효과

Effects of Action Learning-Based Academic Self-Efficacy on Problem-Solving Ability, Interpersonal Relationships, and Problem-Solving Attitude of Adult Learners

본 연구는 액션러닝기반 학습을 적용한 평생교육교과 수업에서 성인학습자의 학업효능감이 역량 강화에 미치는 영향력을 파악하고자 한 것이다. 연구대상은 서울시 및 수도권 2개 대학의 남녀성인학습자이며, SPSS 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 회귀분석 결과에서 액션러닝을 적용한 평생교육 교과학습을 통해 성인학습자의 학업효능감은 창의적 사고의 문제해결력, 대인관계, 문제해결태도 변인에 모두 각각 통계적으로 유의미한 긍정적 효과성이 나타났음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 액션러닝 교수학습 전략을 적용한 성인학습자의 팀 활동 성찰 후기의 분석 결과, 긍정적인 동기유발의 촉진으로 인해 성인학습자의 창의적 문제해결능력이 발휘될 수 있음을 발견하였으며, 학습공동체의 상호적 신뢰감 형성과 상호 우호적 의견교류를 통해 학습자 개인 삶의 영역에 있어 더 나은 발전을 계획하고 기대했다는 점에서 의의가 있었다. 그리고 액션러닝기반 팀 활동을 통해 대인관계능력에 관한 기술이 향상되고, 타 영역 교과와 자신의 현장 직무에의 적용 및 연계로 직면한 실질적 문제 해결을 도모하고자 하는 인식 형성에 의미 있는 중요한 역할을 함을 확인하였다. 이에 대학은 양질의 교육과 인적자본개발을 위해, 성인학습자의 흥미로운 동기유발과 자기주도적 학습을 위해 실천적 교육을 실행해야 하며, 교수자의 학습기술훈련 및 전문적 연수로 학습공동체의 과업목표를 함께 달성하도록 해야 한다. 또한, 액션러닝 학습방법 및 전략기술 활용을 통한 건설적, 생산적인 팀 워크의 발전으로 성인학습자의 역량을 강화하여 더욱 가치 있는 삶을 지향하게 해야 한다.

This study aims to identify effects of adult learners academic self-efficacy on the strengthening of their capabilities in the action learning-based curricula for lifelong education. The target subjects were male and female adult learners at two universities based in Seoul City and the metropolitan area; and frequency, correlation and multiple regression analyses were performed using the SPSS program. As a result, first, the regression analysis found that academic self-efficacy of adult learners through the action learning-based curricula for lifelong education had a statistically significant positive effect on problem-solving ability based on creative thinking, interpersonal relationships, and problem-solving attitude, respectively. Second, according to the analysis of the reflective journals of team activities among adult learners to which action learning teaching-learning strategies, a positive motivation was encouraged for adult learners to display a creative problem-solving ability, and the team activities were significant in that individual learners were able to plan and anticipate a better development in their own life by building up mutual trust and exchanging opinions in an amicable manner in the learning communities. In addition, it was also confirmed that techniques related to interpersonal relationships were enhanced through the action learning-based team activities, which in turn played an important role in forming a perception for actively solving the problems they face through the application and connection of action learning-based team activities to other curricula and actual tasks. Therefore, universities need to implement practical education programs to encourage adult learners to be motivated and initiate a self-directed learning; and to provide opportunities of learning skill training and professional training for educators, in order to provide high-quality education and develop human resources. In addition, a constructive and productive teamwork should be ensured through the utilization of action learning methods and strategic techniques so as to strengthen the capabilities of adult learners so that they can lead a more valuable life.
