메이커 사례 및 인식조사를 통한 메이커 활성화 및 성공 요인 분석

본 연구는 국내 메이커 및 메이커 운동에 대한 메이커 당사자들의 인식조사, 주요 메이커별 FGI, 국내 메이커 사례 수집 및 분석을 통해 메이커 교육, 문화, 인프라, 정부지원방안 등 영역별 발전방안을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한 한국형 메이커 운동의 방향을 수립하기 위해 국내·외 메이커 운동을 분석하여 메이커 성장단계별(Zero to Maker, Maker to Maker, Maker to Market) 교육, 문화, 인프라, 정부지원 방안을 도출함으로써 단계별 세부실행계획을 수립하였다. 그 결과 메이커 인식조사는 메이커 관심단계, 메이커 활동단계, 창업단계로 결과가 다르게 도출되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 메이커 활동 동기는 관심단계에서는 ‘재미’, 활동단계에서는 ‘성취감’, 창업단계에서는 ‘아이디어 표현 가능성’이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 또한 주된 목적은 관심·활동단계에서는 취미생활, 창업단계에서는 전업활동 목적으로 단계별 다른 결과를 나타났다. 메이커 활동 빈도는 메이커 창업단계가 주 2~3회 정도로 가장 높게 나타났다. 메이커스페이스 경험에 따른 만족도는 민간기관 및 정부기관 모두 보통 수준으로 나타났으며, 통합시스템 구축필요성은 관심단계 및 활동단계에서는 ‘필요하다’, 창업단계에서는 ‘매우 필요하다’로 나타났다. 메이커 문화 확산과 메이커 활성화를 위해서는 메이커 교육의 성장단계별 맞춤형 교육 개발 및 보급이 필요하며, 온라인을 통한 메이커 교육 및 정보의 공유 활성화 및 교육 플랫폼 강화가 요구됨이 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to derive development plans for education, culture, infrastructure, and government-support areas by collecting and analyzing the makers perception of domestic makers and makers movements, major makers FGI, and local makers cases. In addition, a detailed step by step execution plan was formulated by deriving growth stages (Zero to Maker, Maker to Maker, Maker to Market), education, culture, infrastructure, government support plan of domestic and overseas Makers movement to establish the direction of the Korean model of the Maker movement. As a consequence, it was confirmed that the results of the Maker s survey were derived differently by the following stages; the stage of interest, the stage of progress, and the stage of start-up. Enjoyment was the reason for interest in the stage of interest, the sense of accomplishment was the reason in the stage of progress, and in the stage of start-up the highest level of the possibility of expression of an idea was shown. And in addition the main purpose was interest. Hobbies were the reason in the stage in progress, and job changing was the main purpose in the stage of start-up which shows that the outcome appeared differently in each stage. Also, the frequency of makers activity was the highest at the stage of the start-up, about two to three times a week. As a result of analyzing the experience and satisfaction rate of Maker space, it is found that the experience of the private institution and the satisfaction of the experience of the government organization activity are ‘ordinary level’. In regards to the establishment of an integrated system, the stage of interest and the stage of progress appeared ‘necessary’ and the stage of start-ups’ result was ‘very necessary’. This study thus indicates that it is necessary to develop and distribute customized Maker education for each growth stage, and it is required that the education of Maker and sharing of information online, as well as the strengthening of the education platform to spread Maker culture and Maker invigoration.
