반응중심 문학활동에 기초한 유아문해교육 프로그램 적용 효과

Effects of the Literacy Education Program for Young Children based on the Response-based Literature Activities

본 연구의 목적은 반응중심 문학활동에 기초한 유아문해교육 프로그램을 적용하고 효과를 알아보는 것에 있다. 문해교육 활동을 구성하고 적용하여 유아의 음운인식, 읽기 쓰기 흥미도, 읽기능력, 쓰기능력, 언어표현력에 미치는 효과를 검증하였다. 연구대상은 D광역시에 위치한 A유아교육기관의 만 4세 유아 25명을 실험집단으로 반응중심 문학활동에 기초한 유아문해교육을 실시하였고, B유아교육기관에 재원 중인 만 4세 유아 25명을 비교집단으로 누리과정 문해교육을 적용하였다. 본 프로그램을 실시하기 전 집단 간의 동질성을 알아보기 위해 SPSS 23을 이용하여 t-검증을 실시하였으며, 프로그램의 적용 후 효과 검증을 위해 집단별 평균분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 반응중심 문학활동에 기초한 유아문해교육 프로그램은 유아의 음운인식에서 차이를 나타내지 않았으나, 유아의 읽기, 쓰기에 대한 흥미, 유아의 읽기능력, 쓰기능력, 언어표현력의 증진에 효과적인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이와 같은 결과들은 반응중심 문학활동을 통한 유아문해능력 증진의 필요성을 확인해 주었으며, 유아교육 현장에서 유아문해교육의 방향과 구체적인 방법에 대한 이론적 근거와 시사점을 제공한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the literacy education program based on response-based literary activities. Based on literature reviews and previous studies, the present situation and needs of early childhood literacy education were examined. Based on the results, we constructed and applied the education activities and verified the effects of children s phonological awareness, reading and writing interest, reading ability, writing ability, and language expression ability. The subjects were 25 infants aged 4 years old at A kindergarten in D metropolitan city, and they conducted infant literacy education based on response-based literary activities as an experimental group and compared 25 infants aged 4 years old Nursing process literacy education was applied as a group. In order to examine the homogeneity between the groups before the program, t-test was conducted using SPSS 23, and an average analysis was conducted to verify the effect of the program after applying the program. As a result, children s literacy education program based on response-based literary activities did not show any difference in children s phonological awareness, but it was found to be effective in improving reading and writing interest, reading and writing ability.
