고령장애인의 사회적 자본과 삶의 만족도의 관계 : 우울과 자아존중감의 매개효과를 중심으로

Relationship Between the Social Capital of Disabled elderly and Life Satisfaction Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Depression and Self Esteem

본 연구에서는 사회적 자본의 하위영역을 적용하여 고령장애인의 삶의 만족도와의 관계를 체계적으로검토하고, 고령장애인의 자아존중감과 우울의 매개효과를 분석함으로써 고령장애인들의 삶의 만족도를높일 수 있는 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이 연구는 한국복지패널(KOWEPS)의 2015년 10차년 조사자료를 분석 하였고, 주 연구 대상자는 60세 이상 고령장애인 총 685명의 자료를 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 사회적 자본변수 가운데 전반적 네트워크, 가족네트워크, 규범 및 호혜성이 고령장애인들의 삶의 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 자본과 삶의 만족도 관계에 우울, 자아존중감이 부분매개 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 이 같은 연구결과를 토대로 고령장애인의 삶의 만족도 증진방안을 제안하였다.

This study has comprehensively applied the sub-range of social capital, which was universally and commonly proposed by preceding studies, and conducted a systematic review on its relationship with life satisfaction in disabled elderly. The purpose of this study is to suggest the ways to improve life satisfaction in disabled elderly by analyzing the mediating effects of self esteem and depression of disabled elderly. An analysis was performed using data that was investigated over 10 years in 2015 by the Korea Welfare Panel Study (KOWEPS). The study’s main subjects were 685 disabled elderly, age 60 or over. Their data was analyzed using the SPSS 20.0 program. Upon examining the mediating effect of depression and self esteem on social capital and life satisfaction in disabled elderly, depression and self esteem had a partial mediating effect between the influence of overall network and life satisfaction. depression and self esteem also had a partial mediating effect between the influence of family network and life satisfaction. depression and self esteem also had a partial mediating effect between the influence of standard and reciprocality and life satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, we propose a plan to improve life satisfaction in disabled elderly.
