특수학교 학교기업의 교육적 성과에 대한 특수교사의 인식

Special Educators Perspectives on Educational Outcomes produced by School Enterprise of the Special Schools

이 연구의 목적은 특수학교 학교기업의 교육적 성과에 대한 특수교사들의 인식을 중요도와 실행도를 통해 살펴봄으로써, 특수학교 학교기업의 정체성을 제고하고 향후 학교기업의 교육적 성과를높이는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 있었다. 이를 위해 1년 이상 학교기업을 운영하고 있는18개 특수학교의 교사들을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 특수교사 111명의 응답 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 특수학교 학교기업관련 특수교사들은 학교기업을 운영함에 있어 첫째, 안전해야 하며, 둘째, 그 생산·판매·유통 공정이 학생 교육에 부정적인 영향을 미치지 않아야 하고, 셋째, 학교교육과정과 연계한 교육과정을 개발하거나 보완하여 운영해야 하며, 넷째, 학생 취업률 제고에 기여할수 있어야 한다고 인식하고 있었다. 또한, 학교기업의 정체성을 확보하고 교육적 성과를 효과적으로달성하기 위해서는 예산이나 행정을 전담해줄 수 있는 인력이 확보되어야 하며, 담당 교사들에 대한 인센티브제도 등 행·재정적 지원이 매우 필요하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를토대로 후속연구에 대하여 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine (a) the special education teachers perceptions on educational outcomes generated by school enterprise of the special schools and (b) the degree to which special educators implement the practices related to school enterprise. This study was conducted to establish the identity of school enterprise and to provide fundamental information to improve educational outcomes of school enterprise. Analyzing the data on perceptions collected from 111 special educators of 18 special schools who have run the school enterprise more than one year, we found the following study results. First, the special educators thought that the process of school enterprise should be safe. Second, the whole process of production, sales and marketing, and the distribution should not impact students’ education negatively. Third, teachers need to develop the curriculum associated with the current school curriculum or to make adjustments on the current school curriculum. Fourth, the teachers perceived that the school enterprise should improve the students employment rate. Finally, teachers urged a need for the skilled manpower to take care of budget and administrative paper works so that special educators can focus on instructions. In addition, administrative support, such as the incentive system for associated teachers, should be introduced. The implications for future studies based on aforementioned study results are provided.
