장애인에 대한 태도척도 개발을 위한 기초연구

Development of Attitude Scale of People with Disabilities

본 연구는 장애인에 대한 태도를 측정하는 도구를 개발하는 연구이다. 기존의 척도들은 대부분 외국의 척도들을 번안한 것을 사용하고 있으며, 또한 오래 전에 개발된 것으로써 현실적 상황과 우리 문화를 반영하지 못하는 것으로 생각된다. 이를 위해 선행연구들과 장애인복지자료, 인터넷 홈페이지 등을 참조하여 모두 50개의 문항들을 개발하였다. 이 문항들을 대학생 187명을 대상으로 조사하여 응답을 받아 탐색적 요인분석과 신뢰도 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 내용검토 등을 거쳐 최종적으로 15개 문항을 도출하였다. 개발된 척도는 3개의 요인으로 구성되어 있으며, 3개의 요인은 존엄성, 거리감, 열등감으로 명명하였다. 개발된 척도의 신뢰도 분석을 한 결과 Cronbach s ⍺값이 .872로 나타나 무난했으며, 타당도 분석을 한 결과 ATDP, SADP와의 상관계수가 각각 .550, .630으로 나타나 기준타당도를 확립하였다. 이 척도는 우리나라에서 개발된 장애인에 대한 태도 척도가 거의 전무한 상황에서 이러한 척도를 개발함으로써 앞으로 현장에서 매우 유용한 도구로 사용될 것으로 생각된다.

This study aims to develop the attitude scale of people with disabilities. Attitude scales currently in use are mostly those from foreign scholars which are developed long ago. Development of the scale has been processed based upon research articles, books, internet materials and 50 items are developed initially. Survey was administered to 187 university students and analyzed by various research methods, including factor analysis, reliability, correlation analysis. Through these processes, 15 items are finally developed which are composed of 3 factors named dignity, distance, inferiority. Criterion validity was established by correlation analysis with ATDP, SADP which are .550 and .630. Reliability analysis was performed and Cronbach s ⍺ is .872 which is good. The Scale is expected to be used variously in the social welfare fields and be employed in future research.
