본 연구는 고등학교 재학 시의 진로교육경험이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향에서 진로성숙의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 즉, 고등학교 때 받은 진로교육이 도움이 되었다고 평가할수록 진로성숙도를 매개로 하여 학업적, 사회적 측면의 대학생활적응에 도움이 되는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이 연구목적을 위하여 한국교육개발원의 5, 7차년도 데이터를 사용하여 기초분석과 구조방정식모형을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 고등학교 재학 시 진로교육경험은 진로성숙도와 대학생활적응에 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 진로성숙도도 대학생활적응에 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 고등학교 재학시 진로교육경험과 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 진로성숙도는 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 고등학교 시기의 진로교육경험이 진로성숙도를 높이고 대학교 입학후 대학생활적응을 돕는다는 것을 확인하였다는 측면에서 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of career maturity on the effect of career education experience in college high school adjustment. In other words, the higher the career education received in high school, the more useful it was to examine whether it would be helpful to adapt to academic and social aspects of college life through career maturity. For this purpose, basic analysis and structural equation modeling were used using the 5th and 7th year data of the Korea Educational Development Institute. As a result, first, career education experience had a significant positive effect on career maturity and college adjustment, and career maturity also had a significant positive effect on college life adjustment. Second, career maturity was partially mediated in the relationship between career education experience and college life adjustment. This study is meaningful in that it has been confirmed that career education experience in high school promotes career maturity and adapts to college life after entering university.
