장애인의 경제활동 특성과 영향 요인 -장애유형별 비교를 중심으로-

Factors Affecting the Economic Activity : Comparing by Type of Person with Disabilities

본 연구의 목적은 장애인의 경제활동 요인을 장애유형별로 살펴봄으로써 장애인의 경제활동 을 촉진할 수 있는 제도적인 개선방안을 도출하는 것에 있다. 신체외부, 신체내부, 정신적 장애 등 장애유형별 경제활동 요인을 살펴본 결과, 신체외부와 신체내부 장애의 경제활동 요인은 상대적으로 유사하였으나, 정신적 장애와는 상반된 요인이 영향을 미쳤으며, 영향을 공통적으로 미치는 변수는 2개에 불과하였다. 이러한 결과는 경제활동요인을 장애유형을 구분하지 않고, 포괄적으로 분석하는 방법이 일부 장애유형에게는 유용한 정보를 제공하지 않는다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 결과의 함의는 장애인의 경제활동 영향 요인은 장애유형별로 상이할 수 있으며, 장애유형별로 특화된 고용 프로그램이 요구됨을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze factors of economic activity by type of persons with disabilities(outside the body, inside the body, and mental disabilities). The results is that physical disabilities of the external and internal body factors is relatively similar, but common effects between internal body and mental disabilities factors is only three. This results means that economic activities factors without distinguishing types of disability is not to provide useful information. The results show that the factors to affect economic activities of persons with disabilities may differ by type and by type of disability-specific employment program.
