Results: The mean score of university hospital nurses fatigue was 3.17±0.63, perception of patient safety culture was 3.12±0.20, and safety management activities was 4.39±0.51. There was a negative correlation between safety management activities and fatigue (r=−.18, p =.008), but a significantly positive correlation between safety management activities and perception of patient safety culture (r=.21, p =.001). Factors influencing safety management activities in general hospital nurses were place of work (=.23, p <.001), perception of patient safety culture (=.22, p =.001), and fatigue (=−.16, p =.014). which together explained 12.0% of the total variance. Conclusion: The research results show that perception of patient safety culture, fatigue, and place of work affected university hospital nurses performance of safety management activities.
