중학교 기술·가정과 기술의 발달과 미래 사회 단원에서 디지털교과서 활용 수업이 학업성취도와학습 태도에 미치는 효과

The Effects of Using Digital Textbook During Class on Academic Achievement and Learning attitudes: Focus on the Lesson of the Development of Technologies and Future Society of Technology and Home Economics Subject

이 연구에서는 중학교 기술·가정과 ‘기술의 발달과 미래 사회’ 단원에서 디지털교과서 활용 수업이 학업성취도와 학습 태도에 미치는 효과를 알아봄으로써 중학교 기술·가정과 교수 학습 방법을 개선할 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ‘기술의 발달과 미래 사회’ 단원에서 디지털교과서 활용 수업은 학업성취도를 향상시키는데 효과적인 수업 방법이라 할 수 있다. 둘째, ‘기술의 발달과 미래 사회’ 단원에서 디지털교과서 활용 수업은 학업성취 수준에 중위 집단의 학업성취도를 향상시키는데 효과적인 수업 방법이라 할 수 있다. 셋째, ‘기술의 발달과 미래 사회’ 단원에서 디지털교과서 활용 수업은 남학생에게 효과적인 수업 방법이라 할 수 있다. 넷째, ‘기술의 발달과 미래 사회’ 단원에서 디지털교과서 활용 수업은 기술·가정과 학습태도를 긍정적으로 변화시키는데 효과적인 수업 방법이라고 할 수 있다. 다섯째, ‘기술의 발달과 미래 사회’ 단원에서 디지털교과서 활용 수업은 기술·가정과 학습태도 측정 내용과 하위 요인을 긍정적으로 변화시키는데 있어서 효과적인 수업 방법이라고 할 수 있다. 이상의 연구 결과를 종합해보면 디지털교과서 활용 수업은 학업성취도 향상에 효과적이며, 학업성취 수준에 따라서는 중위 집단 학업성취도 향상에 효과적이고, 성별에 따라서는 여학생 보다 남학생 학업성취도 향상에 효과적이었다. 또한 기술·가정과 학습태도를 긍정적으로 변화시키는데 효과적이며, 학습태도의 측정 내용과 하위 요인을 긍정적으로 변화시켰다는 결과를 나타내고 있다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of using Digital Textbook during class on academic achievement and learning attitudes, thereby providing basic data useful for improving teaching methods in middle school Technology and Home Economics. Following research problems were formulated for this study. First, The treatment was found to be significantly effective in improving student academic achievement. Second, The treatment was found to be significantly effective in improving academic achievement of students with medium levels of academic achievement. Third, The treatment was found to be was significantly effective in improving academic achievement of male students. Fourth, The treatment was found to be significantly effective in bring about positive changes in learning attitudes toward the subject of Technology and Home Economics. Fifth, The treatment was found to be significantly effective in bring about positive changes in the overall core areas of assessment of learning attitudes and their respective sub-factors. To summarize these results, the effect of using Digital Textbook during class on the improvement of academic achievement was significant, and the effect was the most significant for students with medium level of academic achievement and more significant for male students than female students. Also, it was found to positively influence learning attitudes toward the subject of Technology and Home Economics and to bring about positive changes in the overall core areas of assessment of learning attitudes and their respective sub-factors.
