중학생의 기술적 능력에 영향을 미치는 다중지능 영역 분석

Analysis of Multiple Intelligences Areas Affecting Technological Capability for middle school Students.

본 연구의 목적은 기술적 능력에 영향을 미치는 다중지능 영역을 분석하는 것이다. 기술적 능력은 항상 새로운 지식과 기술을 요구받는 현대인이 갖추어야 하는 능력 중 하나이다. 기술적 능력 함양을 위한 교육을 효율적으로 진행하기 위해서는 기술적 능력과 학습자의 특성 간에 어떠한 관련이 있는지 알아보고 유의한 특성은 교육방법에 적극 활용해야 한다. 이에 이 연구에서는 학습자의 특성에 대한 설명이 가능하고 학습적으로도 활용 가능한 다중지능이론을 적용하여 학습자의 기술적 능력과 다중지능의 관계에 대하여 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 서울 J중학교 2학년 306명의 학생을 대상으로 다중지능과 기술적 능력(지식, 기능, 태도)을 측정하고 그 관계를 알아보았다. 자료의 분석을 위해 기술통계, 일원 분산 분석, 다중 선형 회귀 분석을 실시하였으며 이는 모두 SPSS 12.0 프로그램을 사용하여 통계처리 하였다(p<.05). 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기술적 능력 우수자의 강점 지능은 음악 지능, 논리수학 지능, 언어 지능, 대인관계 지능이고 약점 지능은 신체 운동 지능, 공간 지능, 자연 친화 지능이다. 둘째, 일반학생들과 기술적 능력 우수자의 다중지능을 비교한 결과 논리수학 지능과 언어 지능에서만 유의미한 차이가 발견되었다. 이는 논리수학 지능과 언어 지능이 기술적 능력과 관련이 있음을 의미한다. 셋째, 기술적 능력의 각 요소 별로 다중지능의 영향력을 살펴본 결과 지식 요인에는 언어지능이 영향을 미치고 기능과 태도요인에는 논리수학지능이 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이와 같은 연구의 결과는 기술적 능력 향상을 위한 교육 방안의 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze area of multiple intelligences affecting in technological capability. We should study the relation between technological capability and learner for efficient technological capability education, and meaningful character must use for education. So this study apply multiple intelligences theory that is possible explain about various character and make full use of learning method. To achieve this, this study made a estimate multiple intelligence and technological capability(knowledge, competence, attitude) aimed at 306 students of Seoul J middle school. We used descriptives, one-way ANOVA and multiple linear regression analysis of SPSS 12.0 program for analysis of data(p<.05). Result of study is as following: First, strength intelligence of superior grade students of technological capability is musical intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, linguistic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence. and Weakness intelligence is bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, spatial intelligence, naturalist intelligence. Second, meaning difference was discovered in logical-mathematical intelligence and linguistic intelligence at result that compare superior grade students of technological capability with general students. This means that logical-mathematical intelligence and linguistic intelligence connect with technological capability. Third, according to result that examine influence of multiple intelligences about each element of technological capability, linguistic intelligence affects to knowledge factor and logical-mathematical intelligence affects to function and attitude factor. Result of such study is expected to be used to basic data of education plan for technological capability elevation.
