기술적 문제해결 성향과 MBTI 성격 유형 간의 관계 분석 연구

Analysis of the relationship between Technological Problem Solving Styles and MBTI Character Types

본 연구의 목적은 기술적 문제해결 성향과 MBTI성격 유형과의 관계를 구명하는 것이다. 이 연구를 위하여 대전광역시에 위치한 C대학교 사범대학 학생 152명을 대상으로 기술적 문제해결 성향 검사와 MBTI성격 유형을 알아보기 위한 검사를 실시하였다. 검사 결과는 IBM spss Statisics 19 프로그램을 사용하여 성별과 학과 구분에 따른 차이를 검증하기 위하여 독립 표본 t검증을 실시하였으며, 기술적 문제해결 성향과 MBTI성격 유형간의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해서 Pearson 적률 상관 계수를 구하였다. 이와 같은 연구 방법을 통한 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문제해결 자신감과 MBTI 성격 유형간의 관계에 있어서, 외향(E), 사고(T), 판단(J), 직관(N)은 정적 상관관계가 있었으며, 내향(I)과는 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 접근-회피 성향과 MBTI성격 유형간의 관계에 있어서, 판단(J)과 사고(T)는 정적 상관관계가 있었으며, 인식(P)과는 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 셋째, 자아통제 인식도와 MBTI성격 유형간의 관계에 있어서, 사고(T), 외향(E), 판단(J)은 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 넷째, 학과 및 성별 구분에 따른 기술적 문제해결 성향은 차이가 없었다. 다섯째, 성별에 따른 MBTI성격 유형은 차이가 있었으며, 학과 구분에 따른 차이는 없었다. 이상의 연구 결과에 근거하여, 기술적 문제해결 성향의 하위요소인 문제해결 자신감과 접근-회피 성향, 자아통제 인식도는 사고(T), 판단(J)과 모두 정적 상관관계가 있었다.

The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between the technological problem-solving styles and the MBTI character types. 152 students from the School of Education from C University were asked to answer a survey on technological problem-solving inventory and underwent an evaluation to understand their respective MBTI character type. Then, the gathered data were processed through IBM’s spss Statistics 19 program to conduct an independent sample t-test and evaluate the differences gender and department. Finally, the product-moment correlation coefficient was calculatedto understand the relationship between the technological problem-solvinginventory and the MBTI character type. The following results were obtainedthrough these research methods. First, there was a positive correlation external(E), thinking(T), judgment(J) and intuition(N) while there existed a negative correlation the internal, when it came to the relationship between confidence for problem-solving and MBTI character type. Second, there was a positive correlation between the judgment(J) and thinking(T) while there existed a negative correlation the perception(P), when it came to the relationship between the approach-neglect tendencies and the MBTI character types. Third, there was a positive correlation with the thinking(T), external(E) and judgment(J) when it came to the relationship between the conscience level for self-restriction and the MBTI character type. Fourth, there were no discrepancies based on gender and department in regards to the technical problem-solving inventory. Fifth, Depending on the gender, there was a difference in the MBTI character type. On the other hand, department of the subject, there was a no difference in the MBTI character type. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation the thinking(T) and judgment(J), which are all elements of technological problem-solving inventory.
