기술과 교육실습의 실태 분석과 개선 방안 연구

An Analysis Status of Educational Practice in Technology Education and Suggestions for Improvement

이 연구의 목적은 기술과 교육실습의 실태를 분석하고 개선 방안을 마련하는 데 있었다. 이 연구의 대상은 전국의 교육실습을 마친 기술교육과 4학년 학생 80명(충남대학교 기술교육과 42명, 한국교원대학교 기술교육과 22명, 세한대학교 기술교육과 16명)이다. 자료 수집은 2012년 5월 29일부터 6월 8일까지 우편 조사와 방문 조사를 통하여 이루어졌고, 80부 중 4부가 미회수 되어 76부를 분석에 활용하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 기술교육과 학생들의 경우 교육실습 학교를 선정하는 방법으로 학생 본인이 직접 실습학교를 알아보고, 해당 학교에 교육실습을 요청하여 선정하는 경우가 가장 많았으며, 교육실습생 중 일부는 실습학교 사정상 기술 영역을 지도하지 못하고 가정이나 다른 교과만 지도하는 경우도 있었다. 실습학교의 교과 지도교사가 담당한 교육실습생의 수는 지도교사 1인당 1명인 경우보다 여러명인 경우가 더 많았다. 또한, 기술교육과 교육실습생들은 교과지도시 강의법뿐만 아니라 다양한 교수학습방법을 활용하고 있었으며, 교육실습 영역 중 교과지도, 생활지도, 학급경영 순으로 수행한 비율이 높았다. 둘째, 교육실습 중 가장 어려웠던 사항은 수업 준비이었으며, 교과지도시 가장 어려웠던 사항은 학생들의 적극적인 수업 참여를 유도하는 것이었다. 또한, 현행 교육실습 제도에서 가장 개선이 필요한 사항은 학교 현장과 맞지 않은 대학의 교육과정을 개선하는 것으로 인식하고 있었으며, 과반수의 교육실습생들이 교육실습 후 교직에 대하여 호감이 생기거나 더 강화된 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교육실습 내용 중 실습학교에서의 교육실습에 관한 연수, 교과지도(이론지도), 교과지도(실습지도), 연구수업, 학생생활지도, 학급경영 등은 교육실습생들에게 유익하였으나 창의적 체험활동지도와 기술실습시설 관리에 관한 교육 실습은 상대적으로 유익하지 않았다. 넷째, 대학의 기술교육과 교육과정 중 교과내용학(이론)이 교육실습에 가장 유익하며, 대학에서 실시한 교육실습에 대한 사전교육과 일반 교육학의 유익성은 보통이었다. 다섯째, 기술교육과 교육실습생들의 교과지도 수행정도는 다양한 어려움을 겪으면서도 전반적으로 높았으며, 일부 항목에서 남학생이 여학생보다 우수하였다.

The purposes of this study were to analysis status of educational practice in technology education and to suggest some improvements. The study was carried out through questionnaire survey method. The population for the survey was senior technology education students Seventy six out of 80 questionnaires were returned, of which were used for analysis. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were employed for data analysis. Major findings of this study were as follows: First, a few pre-service technology education teachers couldn’t teach technology. And they had to teach another subjects. And pre-service technology education teachers applied various teaching and learning methods in their class. In the domains of educational practice, performance rate of subject guidance was the highest. Second, it was the most difficult in educational practice to prepare for classes. And it was the most difficult in subject guidance practice to attract active participation from students in their class. Third, in the educational practice contents, orientation of educational practice school, subject contents(theory), subject contents(practice), demonstration instruction, student life guidance, class management were benefit to pre-service technology education teachers Fourth, subject contents(theory) among the technology education curriculum in university were most beneficial to educational practice. But benefit of orientation for educational practice and general pedagogics was average. Fifth, subject guidance performance level of pre-service technology education teachers was high. And the level of male was higher than the level of female in some items.
