Case Studies on the Development and Application of In-service Training Program for Technology Educators

이 연구는 기술 교사를 위한 직무연수 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하고자 문헌 고찰을 통해 기술 교사 직무연수 프로그램 초안을 구안하였다. 프로그램 초안은 10인의 전문가 집단의 내용 타당도 검증을 통해 최종 개발되었다. 기술 교사 직무연수 프로그램은 2014년 11월부터 2015년 1월까지 전국 5개 지역에서 10회에 걸쳐 적용되었다. 연구 대상자는 연수 참여자 227명이고, 연수가 종료된 후 ‘만족도 설문조사’와 ‘현장 적용도 평가 설문조사’를 실시하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기술 교사 직무연수 프로그램의 주제는 ‘스마트 LED’, ‘융합기술’, ‘생명기술’, ‘스마트폰 앱’ 및 ‘자동차’이다. 또한 이 프로그램은 ‘기술교과 프로젝트 실습(8시간)’, ‘관련 분야 산업체 현장 체험(4시간)’, ‘관련 분야 소양 특강(2시간)’ 및 ‘기술수업 사례 개발 및 공유(1시간)’로 구성되었다. 둘째, 기술 교사 직무연수 프로그램에 대한 전반적인 만족도 평균은 4.28로 높게 나타났으며, 영역별(내용, 시간 등), 내용의 도움 정도 및 강사 만족도 평균도 4.00 이상으로 높게 나타났다(5점 만점). 셋째, 기술 교사 직무연수 프로그램에 대한 현장 적용도 평가 결과, 학교 현장에 도움이 된다고 인식하고 있으나, 학교 구성원의 부정적 사고와 실습 경비 등의 문제로 연수 내용의 수업 적용에 어려움을 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to develop an in-service training program for technology educators, and then apply it. To accomplish the goal of this research, the program draft was created through a literature review. The draft was finally modified after verifying the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) with ten subject matter experts. The training program was applied in five areas around the nation from November 2014 to January 2015 having ten times. The target of the study is the 227 people who participated in the program. The study involved a participant questionnaire on “satisfaction” and “field applicability.” The conclusions of this study are as follows: First, the in-service training program consisted of four subjects (Practical training, Field experience, Special lecture, Case study, & Sharing experiences in technology education) with fifteen hours and consisted of “Light Emitting Diode,” “Convergence technology,” “Biotechnology,” “Mobile application,” and “Automobile.” Second, the satisfaction level for the content was rated 4.28 out of 5.00 on average; moreover, each area (content, operation time, etc.), the extent of helping, and the instructor assessment were rated above 4.00 on average. Third, most participants positively recognized that the program was helpful to schools, however it was difficult to apply the contents they had learned because of negative thoughts, school budget problems, and so on.
