예비기술교사의 실험·실습 안전 지도에 관한 교육요구도 분석

A Study on Educational Needs of Pre-Service Technology Teachers in Safety Instruction for Technological Experiments and Practices

이 연구의 목적은 예비기술교사의 실험·실습시 안전 지도에 관한 교육적 요구를 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 예비기술교사의 기술교과 교수·학습에서 요구하는 실험·실습지도 및 관리, 운영 능력을 배양하기 위한 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 4곳의 예비기술교사 양성대학 3, 4학년을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문문항은 기술교과 실험·실습시 안전지도에 관한 요구되는 능력과 현재수행능력을 5점 리커트 척도를 활용하여 조사하였다. 조사지는 2016년 9월 7일부터 10월 16일까지 이루어졌으며, 최종 분석 자료는 불성실한 응답 8부를 제외한 174부가 활용되었다. 이 연구에서 조사도구의 신뢰도는 Cronbach’s 알파 값을 활용하였으며, 기술 내용학별 안전교육요구의 신뢰도는 .853, 안전지도를 위한 세부항목에 관한 신뢰도는 .943으로 높게 나타났다. 자료의 분석은 통계분석패키지 SPSS 22.0K와 EXCEL을 활용하였다. 교육요구도의 산출은 Borich(1980)의 공식을 수정하여 사용하였다. 연구의 통계처리 유의수준은 5%로 설정하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비기술교사 양성대학별 실습이수학점과 안전교육 이수 현황에 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 예비기술교사들의 실험·실습 및 안전지도에 대한 교육요구는 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 예비기술교사들의 실험·실습시의 안전지도 세부사항에 대한 교육요구는 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 학년에 따른 안전지도에 대한 교육요구도의 차이의가 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났으며, 3학년이 4학년보다 높게 나타났다. 다섯째, 여학생이 인식하는 안전지도 현재능력수준은 남학생보다 낮게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 예비기술교사 양성기관의 교육과정에서 안전 지도에 관한 교과목 개설 및 기술교사양성의 필수 교과목으로 지정되는 방안이 요구된다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the educational needs of pre-service technology teachers in safety instruction for technological experiments and practices. The subjects of the questionnaire were the third and fourth graders of 4 pre-service technology teachers training colleges. The questionnaire items were surveyed using the 5 - point Likert scale for the Required Competences Level (RCL) and the Present Competences Level(PCL) of safety instruction in the technology subject experiment and practice. The survey was conducted from September 7, 2016 to October 16, 2016, and the final analysis was applied to 174 out of 8 fraudulent responses. The reliability level of this study were .853 (Cronbach’s α) in contents fields and .943 in detail safety instructions. The analysis tools were used SPSS 22.0K and EXCEL. The educational needs level were calculated using a modified formula Borich(1980). Statistical significant level of this study was set at 5%. The results of this study were as follows : First, there were differences in the number of Credits and Safety Educational experiences among 4 pre-service technology teachers training colleges. Second, the educational needs of pre-service technology teachers were high in technological experiments·practices and safety instruction. Third, the educational needs of pre-service technology teachers were high in detail safety instructions. Fourth, there were statistical differences in the RCL about safety-instruction between the third graders and fourth graders of 4 pre-service technology teachers training colleges. And the RCL scores of the third graders were higher than that of the fourth graders. Fifth, there were statistical differences in the PCL for safety-instruction between male pre-service technology teachers and female ones. And the PCL scores of female was lower than that of males. Based on these results, it is required to establish a curriculum for safety guidance and to designate it as an essential subject for pre-service technology teacher training in the future.
