중학교 기술·가정과 교사용 지도서에 대한 기술 교사의 인식과 활용 실태

The Technology Teacher s Recognition and utilization for subject of Technology and Home Economics Teacher s Guide in the middle school

The purpose of the study was to get fundamental data for the improvement of the teacher s guide hereafter by analyzing the technology teachers recognition and utilization for subject of Technology and Home Economics teacher s guide in the middle school. The data were collected through the questionnaires by mail to 170 Technology and Home Economics teachers who teach 7 to 9 grades in the middle school, Daejeon Metropolitan City. Through SPSS WIN Ver 10.0, Variable factors of teachers background: sex, educational background, major was analyzed by frequency and cross analysis for 145 teachers. The major findings from the results were summarized as follows; First, Technology teachers, on the whole, recognized the need of teachers guide and frequently used the teacher s guide, and also positively used the CD titles or web sites, which have convenience and diversity widely. Second, in the general remarks and particulars of the teacher s guide, the fields that teachers refer to most were learning activities, contents, annual guide plan and teaching learning process plan in order. And the fields that teachers don t refer to were curriculum explanation, instruction model, practice guide and evaluation in order. Third, if the teacher s guide was to be reformed, it was represented that the most considerable points were as follows; sufficient complementary explanation about contents, deployment style of units, external shape of text(movable type, color, illustration, etc), separation of the general remarks and particulars of the teacher s guide. Among the teachers variables, according to their majors, there were statistically meaningful differences on the results. Fourth, Technology teachers consider teacher s guide when they choose Technology and Home Economics Text. They think that the improvement point of teacher s guide is to describe exactly teaching learning activities in teaching learning process plan and to propose the more idea of teaching learning activities. And when the compilation of text, it needs cooperation with teachers to be improvement the quality of teacher s guide.
