중학교 특수 학급 기술 체험 활동 중심 수업에서 학습자의 정의적 특성에 대한 분석

Analysis of affective characteristics of special students in hands-on activity centered technology education program at the junior high school level

The purpose of the study was to analyze affective characteristics in technology education program for the learners of the special class through wood working activities in middle school level. The following two major research questions were stated for the purpose of attaining the goal of the research: (1) How woodworking-based hands-on activity affects on special students self-concept in technology education program at the junior high school level ? (2) How woodworking-based hands-on activity affects on special students learning attitude in technology education program at the junior high school level ? To verify the research problems, the researcher observed five male special students including three 8th graders and two 9th graders at working based hands-on activity in technology class for seventeen weeks in a junior high school in Gyongbuk province. The technology instruction consists of the following three phases: (1) demonstration phases, (2) performance phases, and (3) problem-solving phase. Checklist was used as a main instrument for the observation. The findings were as follows: First, while the woodworking-based hands-on activity in technology education program affected positively on male special students self-concept such as participation and overaction, the activity didn t affect abnormal behavior of the students at the junior high school level. Second, while the woodworking-based hands-on activity in technology education program affected positively on male special students attention and concentration, the activity didn t affect short term memory of the students at the junior high school level.
