중학교 기술교육에서 문제해결 능력을 기르는 체험활동 중심의 수업과정안 개발

The Development of Hand-on Activity Centered Lesson Plan of fostering Problem Solving Ability in Technology Education at the Secondary School

The purpose of this study was to develop the lesson plan which is centered on hand-on activity for fostering problem solving ability in technology education at the secondary level. The lesson plan consists of three unit such as manufacturing technology, transportation technology and communication technology. The study was conducted by the following procedure. 1. Preparation step: investigating problem solving, creativity, hand-on activity, lesson plan and so on, and analyzing the textbook of the current course of study. Selecting accomplishment subject and topic on searching stage as a sub-step. 2. Development step : Establishing lesson objectives students, Selecting components for each sub-course. 3. Improvement step : pilot and field testing. The lesson plan developed by this study is that help the teachers and students to develop the program solving ability through hand-on activities technology class. The lesson plan consists of three major activities such as making multi-purpose bookshelf for manufacturing technology, making model car powered by solar module for transportation technology, and designing communication panel for spaceship for communication technology. Not only learning guide plan but also teacher s guide were provided for the each three activities.
