중요도-실행도 분석(IPA)을 통한 공업계열 특성화고등학교 학생의 직업기초능력에 대한 인식조사

A Research on the Perception of the Key Competencies of the Students in the Specialized Technical High School by applying Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA)

이 연구의 목적은 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA)을 통해 공업계열 특성화고등학교 학생의 직업기초능력에 대한 인식을 조사하여 직업기초능력에 대한 정책 및 프로그램 결정 시 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 전국을 5개 권역으로 나누어 18개교 1,552명의 공업계열 특성화고등학교 학생에게 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 이중 1,500명의 응답을 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공업계열 특성화고등학교 학생은 직업기초능력에 대한 중요도는 높게 인식하는 반면, 실행도는 중요도에 비해 상대적으로 낮게 인식하고 있었으며 중요도와 실행도 사이에는 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 공업계열 특성화고등학교 학생의 직업기초능력에 대한 인식은 성별, 도시규모, 거주 지역과 같은 배경변인에 따라 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 공업계열 특성화고등학교 학생의 직업기초능력에 대한 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA) 결과, 자기개발능력과 문제해결능력이 중요도에 대한 인식은 높으나 실행도에 대한 인식은 낮아 우선적으로 투자되어야 하는 ‘집중’ 영역에 위치하였다.

The purpose of this research is to give the information which may affect when the policy or the program regarding the key competencies is decided by researching the perception on key competencies of the students in the specialized technical high school. To accomplish the purpose, the research was carride out among 1,552 students in 18 specialized technical high schools located in to 5 different locations in Korea. Then, 1,500 questionnaires were analyzed. Below are the results. First, the students in the specialized technical high school appraised the importance on the key competencies high, however the performance is lower than importance. There are meaningful difference from the perspective of statistic. Second, the recognition of students in the specialized technical high school on the key competencies showed the significant statistical difference depending on the gender, city size, living area. Third, through the Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) on the key competencies, the self developing skills and solving problem skills are located ‘concentrate here’area that have a priority to investigate. That area have the high importance but low performance.
