The Development of Ability Evaluation Standard for Digital Image Editing of Multimedia Subject in Information Communication High School

The purpose of the study is developing of ability evaluation standard for digital images editing of multimedia subject in Information Communication High School. It is divided into 4 parts as preparation, development, application and improvement. In the first step, preparation, we made the learning objectives and contents by analyzing purpose and contents of digital image editing chapter. And we analyzed the hardware and software environment needed for students projects.In the second step, development, we made basic evaluation rule by analysing learning purpose and educational data related with digital image editing. To verify the validity, we surveyed professional group. And we enhanced objectivity by reflecting the gathered opinions from the group.In the third step, application, we applied the procedures which we designed for practice the project and analyzed the result that the students image editing project achievement.In the fifth step, improvement, we analyzed the results from the students image editing project performances and complete the evaluation points and grading standards after corrections and supplements.The special features of the students image editing ability evaluation standard developed by this study is as follows.The first, we made the evaluation standard would help to measure directly whether the students could apply their knowledge practically. The second, we objectified all the evaluation scores and put gaps in accordance with the degree of difficulty.The third, we applied the evaluation standard to image editing performances which were developed by students, we raised the confidence on the evaluation standard by analyzing the results.
