The purpose of this study are the Comparison of the Effect of Programming Education and practical education of applied software in Transfer and View of Learning on the middle school level. The objects of this study were 73 second grade students in a middle school in Taejeon. The students were divided into two groups; one group was experimented on programming lessons and the other group was experimented on applied software lessons. The experiment was continued at creative activities periods once a week for 7 months. After the experiment was over, the test of transfer of learning and the questionaries were conducted to two groups for 60 minutes. The results of this study are, first, the transfer of learning in the programming lessons group was higher than the transfer of learning in the applied software lessons group. Second, the programming lessons group students had a positive idea more than the applied software lessons group students about the problem solving ability. And last, the students thought the programming lessons were more valuable than the applied software lessons. We can improve the transfer abilities of learning through the consequences of the study in the flood age of knowledge.
