The purpose of this study was to provide preliminary data for future research on Technology Education by examination of the changes of research method and research fields. To accomplish the aim, 130 articles done by Technology Education researchers were selected from the Korean Journal of Technology Education. The articles were analyzed by period, research method, subject fields, and the changes of subject fields by time. The results of analysis were as followed :First, the articles published in The Korean Journal of Technology Education from 2001 to 2006 are 130 in total: forty of them are personal research and ninety are co-research. 52.5% of the personal researches was conducted by university professors.Second, the most common type of the research presented in the journal was library research(50.7%), and experimental research(24.6%) and survey research (22.3%) were followed.Third, the research model of the articles in the journal distributes like this: 34.6% of them was service variance which supports Technology Education, 27.6% was input variance, 27.6% was process variance, and 10.0% was output variance.
