발명교육센터 담당 교사의 발명교육센터 운영에 관한 인식 분석

The Analysis of Invention Education Center Teachers’ Perceptions on the Operation of the Invention Education Center

이 연구는 발명교육센터의 효과적인 운영을 위한 방안을 탐색하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 발명교육센터 담당 교사와 기관장을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 설문의 결과는 요인분석과 Tagxedo를 통한 시각화를 통하여 분석되었다. 첫째, 발명교육센터 담당 교사의 운영에 관한 인식은 ‘발명교육센터 예산 적절성’, ‘발명교육센터 교육과정 적절성’, ‘발명교육센터 교육인력 전문성’, ‘특색있는 발명교육을 위한 노력’으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 발명교육센터 담당 교사의 성과에 관한 인식은 ‘인지적·정의적 변화’, ‘외적 성취’로 구분되었다. 셋째, 발명교육센터에 대하여 담당 교사는 ‘예산부족’, ‘전담인력 필요’, ‘발명교육 교재 및 자료 보급’, ‘담당자의 인센티브 필요’와 같은 내용을 중요하게 생각하고 있었다. 넷째, 발명교육센터에 대하여 기관장은 ‘예산부족’, ‘전담인력 필요’, ‘담당자연수 필요’, ‘담당자의 인센티브 필요’와 같은 내용을 중요하게 생각하고 있었다. 이상의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 한 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예산에 관한 요구가 충족 된다면 발명교육센터 담당 교사들이 보다 교육에 집중할 수 있는 상황을 만들어 줄 수 있을 것이라 기대된다. 둘째, 발명교육센터의 외적인 성과가 발명교육센터를 운영하고 있는 본질적인 목적에 부합하는 것인지는 고민해 볼 필요가 있다. 셋째, 앞으로 발명교육센터가 효율적으로 운영되기 위해서는 지역교육청의 협조를 얻어 현장에서 필요로 하는 것들을 충분히 충족시켜 줄 필요성이 있다.

This study was carried out to explore the effective management of the Invention Education Center(IEC). In order to accomplish this goal, we conducted questionnaires on the teachers and the chiefs of the IEC. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed through factor analysis and visualization through Tagxedo. The results of this study were as follows. First, the recognition about the operation of the teacher in charge of IEC are classified as ‘Appropriateness of IEC Budget’, ‘Appropriateness of IEC Curriculum’, ‘Personnel expertise of IEC’, ‘Efforts for distinctive invention education’. Second, perceptions about the achievement of teachers in IEC were classified into ‘cognitive·affective change’ and ‘external achievement’. Third, the teachers in charge of the IEC were concerned about contents such as ‘lack of budget’, ‘need for exclusive teacher’, ‘supply of textbooks and materials for invention education’, and ’need for incentives of in charge teacher’. Fourth, regarding the IEC, the chief considered the contents such as ‘lack of budget’, ‘need for exclusive teacher’, ‘necessity of training for in charge teacher’, ‘incentive of in charge teacher’. Based on the above analysis results, the conclusion of the study is as follows. First, if the budget requirements are met, the IEC teachers are expected to be able to focus more on education. Second, it is necessary to consider whether the outcome of the IEC meets the essential purpose of operating the IEC. Third, in order for the IEC to operate efficiently, it is necessary to cooperate with the local education office and sufficiently meet the needs of the field.
