중학교 기술교육에서 제조기술의 이해도를 높이기 위한 기업활동 중심의 체험프로그램 개발

Development of Enterprise Activity-based Experiencing Program to Improve the Understanding of Manufacturing Technology in Technology Education at the Middle School Level

이 연구는 중학교 기술교육에서 제조기술의 이해도를 높이기 위한 기업활동 중심의 체험프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 기업활동 중심의 체험프로그램은 준비, 개발, 개선의 3단계를 거쳐 만들어졌다. 준비 단계에서는 기업활동 중심의 체험프로그램에 대한 기술교과, 학습자, 사회의 요구를 분석하고, 제조기술 영역의 구체적인 내용을 분석하였으며, 실제 기업의 제조과정과 외국의 제조기술 교육에서의 기업활동 체험의 사례를 통하여 기업활동 중심의 체험을 위한 단계를 선정하였다. 개발 단계에서는 프로그램의 구체적인 활동 과제를 선정하고, 초안을 개발하였으며, 자기평가와 전문가 검증을 통하여 최종 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개선 단계에서는 서울특별시 소재의 S중학교 2학년 2개 학급 60명을 선정한 후, 실험집단 30명의 학생에게 개발된 기업활동 중심의 체험프로그램 수업을, 통제집단 30명의 학생에게는 기존의 제조기술 이론수업과 일반적인 제품 만들기 실습수업을 실시하였다. 제조기술의 전반적인 이해도를 평가할 수 있는 이해도 검사지를 개발하여 이해도 증가의 효과를 평가하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 제조기술 영역에서 기존의 수업 방식을 벗어나 설계부터 제작, 홍보,판매까지 모두 경험하며 실제 기업의 제조과정과 유사한 경험을 해 볼 수 있는 기업활동 중심의 체험프로그램을 개발하였다. 둘째, 제조기술의 목표와 내용을 분석하여 제조기술의 전반적인 이해도를 평가할 수 있는 사전,사후 검사지를 개발하였다. 셋째, 개발된 기업활동 중심의 체험프로그램은 제조기술의 이해도 증가에 효과가 있음이 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to develop an enterprise-based experience program which makes middle school students improve the understanding on manufacturing technology. Three stages including preparation, development and improvement were applied to making this program. In the preparation stage, analyzed the need of technology subject, learners, and society. And analyzed the contents of manufacturing technology. In the development stage, activity tasks for this program were selected and drafts for this tasks were developed. By self-evaluation and expert verification, the program were finally developed. In the improvement stage, the study selected two classes of S middle school, located in Seoul in order to verify the effect of the developed experiencing program. Then it analyzed the result of a pre-post test and conducted a T-test. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The developed experience program based on manufacturing enterprise activity allows the students to experience design, produce, marketing and sale by real-manufacturing process out of existing class. 2) A pre-post test for evaluating a general understanding of manufacturing technology by analysis of goals and contents of manufacturing technology was developed. 3) It is confirmed that the developed experience program based on manufacturing enterprise activity improves the understanding of manufacturing technology.
