중학교 기술 영역 실습수업에 대한 남녀고등학생의 인식 및 흥미도 분석

A Study on Recognition and Interest of Male and Female High School Students Concerning Actual Training Class of Technology Field in Middle School

본 연구는 중ㆍ고등학교에서 필수교과로 이수되고 있는 「기술 · 가정」교과의 기술영역에서 고등학교 l학년 남ㆍ여 학생에게 중학교 때 배운 단원의 내용과 기술 영역 실습 과제에 대해 어떻게 인식하고 있었는지를 분석하고, 고등학교 때 더 효율적인 단원의 학습과 실습이 이루어지도록 하는데, 주된 목적이 있다. 본 연구 분석한 결과, 첫째, 혼성 학급에서의 학습효과에 관한 인식에서 남학생과 여학생 모두 학습효과가 보통인 것으로 인식하였고, 둘째, 기술 영역 내용 중에서, 가장 흥미가 있었던 단원에 대한 인식에서는 1학년에서 ‘미래의 기술’이었으며, 2학년에서는 ‘재료의 이용’, 3학년에서는 ‘산업과 진로’를 흥미로운 단원으로 인식하였고, 기술 영역 실습 과제에 대한 흥미도가 높은 과제에 대한 인식은 1학년 때는 ‘한글워드를 이용한 문서편집’이, 2학년 때는 ‘CD꽂이 만들기’가, 3학년 때는 ‘회로시험기’가 가장 흥미도가 높은 것으로 인식되었다. 셋째, 실습을 통해 완성한 결과물에 만족도 에서는 학생들 중 77%가 ‘만족’ 하는 것으로 나타났다. 만족한 이유는 ‘재미가 있어서’ 가 가장 많았다. 넷째, 고등학교 때 해보고 싶은 실습 과제에 대한 인식은 전체적으로 ‘전기 자동차 만들기’가 25%, ‘로봇 팔 만들기’가 23%, ‘고무동력 자동차 만들기’가 13%로 순으로 나타났는데, 선택한 이유는 60%의 학생들이 ‘중학교때 배우지 않았던 새로운 내용인 것 같아서’라는 선택 이유가 많았다.

The research thesis has been mainly aimed at analyzing the two ‘compulsory subjects’ 「Technology. Home Economics」which middle and high school students must complete, and, analyzing how high school boys and girls in the tenth grades have perceived the ‘curricular contents’ and ‘practical technological areas and tasks’ learnt in middle school curricular process. The analytic questionnaire data of the research thesis can draw the conclusions as follows. Firstly, regarding ‘perception’ of the most ‘interesting’ curricular areas amongst ‘technological fields’, most students in the tenth grades have had the high interest in ‘Future’s technologies’, most student in the eleventh grades have the high interest in ‘application for materials’, and they in the twelfth grades have the high interest in ‘Industry and Career’. Secondly, with regard to ‘perception’ of ‘the most interesting tasks’ of ‘technological realms-related tasks’, students in the tenth grades have had the high interest in ‘document edition of Korea Word”. Thirdly, students in the eleventh grades and twelfth grades have had the high interest in ‘CD-Case-Working Out’ and ‘Circuit Tester’, respectively. Lastly, the study on the ‘perception’ of ‘preferred practice tasks’ in high schools, has indicated that “Making Electric Automobile” has accounted for 25%, 23% for “Making Robot Arms” and “Making Rubber Motor Automobile” has accounted for 13%. As a whole, 60% of the students replied that they have chosen the related tasks, because they have been interested in something new that they never leant in their middle school days.
