중학교 기술·가정교과 ‘제도의 기초’ 단원 수행평가 도구 개발

The Development of Performance Assessment Instrument in the lesson of foundation of drawing at technology․home economics subject in middle school

이 연구의 목적은 중학교 기술ㆍ가정 교과 ‘제도의 기초’ 단원을 대상으로 학생들에게 필요한 문제 해결 능력을 기를 수 있는 수행평가 도구를 개발하는 데 있다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 수행평가 도구의 개발 절차 모형에 따라 준비 단계, 개발 단계로 세분화하였다. 준비 단계에서는 교육과정의 목표와 내용을 분석하여 성취기준을 설정하였고, 수업 과제를 선정한 후 수업과정안을 설계하였다. 개발 단계에서는 수행평가 도구를 개발하는 단계로, 성취기준과 밀접하게 연계 하였으며, 평가 영역별 준거를 바탕으로 문항별 평가기준을 설정하고 수행평가 도구를 개발하였다. 개발된 수행평가 도구는 중학교 기술ㆍ가정 교과 ‘제도의 기초’ 단원의 ‘모형 비행기 도면 그리기’를 수업과정의 단계에 따라 학생용 자기 평가서, 학생용 동료 평가서, 교사용 점검표, 교사용 관찰 기록부를 개발하였다. 이 연구에서 개발한 수행평가 도구의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학교 기술ㆍ가정 교과 ‘제도의 기초’ 단원에서 학생들에게 필요한 문제해결 능력 신장을 위한 체계적인 수업 과정안을 설계하였다. 둘째, 중학교 기술ㆍ가정 교과 ‘제도의 기초’ 단원에서 문제 해결 능력을 신장시킬 수 있는 평가 영역별 준거를 바탕으로 문항별 평가기준을 설정하였다. 셋째, 중학교 기술ㆍ가정 교과 ‘제도의 기초’ 단원에서 문제 해결 능력 신장을 위한 수행평가 도구를 개발하였다. 이상의 연구 결과 수행평가 도구는 문제 해결 능력 신장을 위한 도구로 체계적이며 수업 과정에 따라 문제의 이해 단계용, 해결책 탐색 및 개발 단계용, 실현 단계용, 평가 단계용으로 구분되어 있다고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to develop performance assessment instrument for problem solving capability in the lesson of ‘foundation of drawing’ at technolog yㆍhome economics subject in middle school. In order to achieve this purpose, according to performance assessment instrument development model, the procedure of development was conducted 2 steps ; preparation and development. The stage of preparation achievement standard is set in analysis objectives and contents in curriculum. And an appropriate instruction plan was designed to select project. The stage of development is the step to develop performance assessment instrument, it was related closely with the completion achievement standard, developed performance assessment instrument in set evaluation standard based on evaluation-criteria. A performance assessment instrument to be accomplished drew an evaluation goal to the achievement standard of ‘foundation of drawing’ unit and ’raised a problem solving capability’ into project ‘drawing of a model airplane’ in the lesson of ‘foundation of drawing’ at technologyㆍhome economics subject in middle school. And then, developed teacher’s checklist, teacher’s observation record pad, student’s self-evaluation and peer evaluation paper according to the stage of a class course. Features of the performance assessment instrument in this study were as follows; First, we designed instruction plan which systematic necessary to students for raised a problem solving capability in the lesson of foundation of drawing’ at technologyㆍhome economics subject in middle school. Second, we set evaluation standard based on evaluation-criteria to raised a problem solving capability in the lesson of ‘foundation of drawing’ at technolog yㆍhome economics subject in middle school. Third, we developed performance assessment instrument for raised problem solving capability in the lesson of ‘foundation of drawing’ at technologyㆍhome Economics subject in middle school. The conclusion derived from the above study is that the performance assessment instrument was systematic. It suggests that a better evaluating efficiency according to each step of instruction process ; steps of problem understanding, solution inquiry and development, realization and evaluation.
