산재근로자 직업복귀에 영향을 미치는 요인연구

A Study on the Return to Work Factors for Industrially Injured Workers

본 연구는 산재근로자들의 직업복귀에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 구명하고 그에 따른 상대적 영향력을 밝힘으로써 보다 실질적인 직업복귀 모형을 구성하여 산재근로자 재활서비스와 정책의 방향을 제시하는데 의의가 있다. 본 연구를 위해 2005년도에 치료를 종결한 사례관리대상 산재근로자 499명을 표집하여 4대 사회성 보험 전산자료들의 조합을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 생태학적 요인들 전체가 직업복귀에 미치는 영향은 나이가 어릴수록 0.034배 높아지고, 건설업종에서 종사하지 않았으면 3.055배 높아지고, 재요양을 하지 않으면 3.216배가 높아지고, 사회적응 만족도가 높을수록 1.32배 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 산재근로자의 직업복귀는 재요양여부에 가장 큰 영향을 받고, 다음으로 건설업종여부, 사회적응 만족도, 그리고 나이에 영향을 받는다는 것을 알 수 있다.

This study was aimed to analyze important factors affecting return to work among persons with industrial injuries. The secondary data were obtained from the registry of injured workers at Korean Labor Welfare Corporation and are analyzed to have policy implications for the disabled workers. Data were gathered from 499 persons with industrial injuries who completed medical treatment after their work injury in 2005. The data were finalized and refined using dummy coding procedures. The dependent variable. return to work was operationalized by 4 social insurance data combining all together: Workers Compensation. Unemployment Benefits, Health Insurance, and National Pension. The data were analyzed using statistical techniques such as frequency test, cross tabulation, and binomial logistic and hierarchical logistic regression based on the contextual factor, the intervention factor, the environmental factor, and the individual factor. The major finding of this study were as follows: From the ecological perspectives, the age, the type of industry, re-hospitalization experience and the degree of satisfaction for social adaptation were important predicting variables for returning to work. The prediction indicated the increase of a rate of 0.034 fold for younger people, a 3.055 fold for not being under the construction area, a 3.216 fold for not being re-hospitalization, and a 1.320 fold for the satisfaction for social adaptation.
