여성장애인의 취업실태와 영향요인에 관한 연구

A Study on Affected Factors of Employment of Women with Disabilities in Korea

본 연구는 2005년 장애인실태조사 자료 분석을 통해 여성장애인의 취업실태와 영향요인을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 먼저 여성장애인의 취업실태를 살펴보고, 그 특성을 남성장애인, 비장애 여성, 비장애 남성 집단과의 비교를 통해, 여성장애인에 대한 이중차별이 취업진입과정과 취업이행과정 중에도 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. 다음으로는 인구학적 요인, 장애 및 건강요인, 인적자본요인, 사회 및 노동시장요인을 투입하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하여 여성장애인의 취업에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 규명하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 여성장애인의 취업을 활성화할 수 있는 방안을 검토해보았다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the Current Situation of Employment of Women with Disabilities in Korea and identify factors that affect employment. This study uses the data on the national survey on people with disabilities which was conducted in 2005. This analysis found that the employment rate and wage of women with disabilities are very low compared to those of people without a disability. Disabled women are under double discrimination(sex and disability). Using logistic regression analysis, the employment was analyzed with demographic factors, disability factors, human capital factors, labor market factors. This study will contribute to developing knowledge about disabled women s characteristics and provide practical implications for intervention strategies related to promoting their employment.
