정신지체 등 발달장애인의 직업재활 실태 및 문제점과 그 대안으로서 1차 산업 분야가 지니는 장점

Actual Conditions and Problems of Vocational Rehabilitation for the People with Developmental Disabilities including Mental Retardation and Advantages of Primary Industry Jobs as an Alternative Ideas

본 연구는 신체장애를 수반하지는 않지만 지적 기능에 문제를 가지고 있어서 직업이나 일상생활 활동 영역에서 실질적으로 중증의 기능적 한계를 가지는 있는 정신지체 등 발달장애인들이 취업 및 직업재활 하는데 있어서 어떤 상황에 놓여 있으며 구체적으로 어떤 문제점이 있는지, 그리고 그 개선책은 무엇인지에 대해 파악하고 논의하는데 그 목적이 있다. 우선 발달장애에 대한 정의에서부터 시작하여 그들을 위한 직업재활대책의 역사적 과정, 그리고 그들의 취업ㆍ직업재활 실태 및 문제점으로서 특히 직종 선정에 어떤 문제가 있는지와 그 대안으로서 1차 산업 분야의 직종이 지니는 장점에 대해 집중적으로 논의되었다.

The purpose of this study is to discuss what kinds of unfavorable surroundings the people with developmental disabilities including mental retardation who have severe functional limitations substantially in their vocational and daily living activities because of their intellectual impairments are placed in, specifically what problems they have to cope with and what is the solution for it. With the definition of developmental disability, historical change process in the vocational rehabilitation strategies for the people with developmental disabilities, especially the problem of the job categories which they are engaged in among the problems they are confronted with and the advantages of the primary industry jobs as an alternative ideas for it were intensively discussed.
