지체장애 근로자의 직업유지에 영향을 주는 요인

Analysis of Factors Affecting Job Maintenance for the Workers with Physical Disability

본 연구의 목적은 지체장애 근로자를 대상으로 직업유지에 영향을 주는 요인을 살펴보고, 각 요인들의 상호작용을 규명하는 것이다. 서울, 인천. 경기 지역의 장려금 지급 사업체에 6개월 이상 근무한 경험이 있는 지체장애 근로자 256명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째. t-검정과 분산분석을 통해 일반적 특성에 따른 지체장애 근로자의 직업유지기간 차이를 분석한 결과 연령, 학력, 결혼상태, 직종, 임금, 고용상태, 자격증 여부 등에 따라 직업유지기간의 차이가 있었으나 성별과 장애등급, 직장 규모에 따라서는 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 다중회귀분석을 통해 지체장애 근로자의 직업유지에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석한 결과 신체기능 요인과 직무만족도 요인이 영향을 주었고, 가족관련 요인, 직업재활서비스 요인은 영향을 주지 못하였다. 셋째, 경로분석을 통해 직접적 혹은 간접적으로 직업유지기간에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석한 결과 직무만족도 요인이 가장 큰 영향을 주었고, 신체기능 요인, 가족관련 요인, 심리적 요인 순으로 영향을 주었다. 본 연구의 결과 신체기능 요인, 심리적 요인, 가족관련 요인, 직무만족도 요인 등 많은 요인들이 지체장애 근로자의 직업유지에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며 이들 각 요인들은 서로 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과에 의하면 지체장애 근로자의 직업유지기간을 최대화하기 위해서는 현재의 직업재활 서비스 이외에 대상자의 욕구에 부합하는 다양한 직업재활 서비스가 개발되고 제공되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing job maintenance of handicapped workers and to specify the relationships between the factors. The subjects were 256 handicapped workers who had worked in companies that received encouragement benefits in 2003 in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi. The following are the analyzed results of the survey. First. the t-test and ANOVA showed that there were differences in general characteristics such as age. education, marital status, job. salary, employment and certification, there were no differences in sex, handicap level and scope of the work. Second. factors influencing job maintenance period of the handicapped workers were physical functions and job satisfaction. In detail, the upper limb movement capabilities and motor capabilities. self-efficacy. job finding support and family support, and consideration and welfare were the influencing factors. Third, physical function factors, family related factors and job satisfaction factors had a direct influence on the job maintenance period of the handicapped workers and physical function factors. psychological factors and family related factors had an indirect influence on the job maintenance period of the handicapped workers. However. job rehabilitation service factors did not have a direct influence on the job maintenance period both directly or indirectly. From the results of this study. various factors such as physical function factors, psychological factors, family related factors and job satisfaction factors influenced the job maintenance period of the handicapped workers. According to the study results, various job rehabilitation services and programs reflecting the requirements of the targets additional to the existing job rehabilitation services and programs should be developed and provided to maximize the job maintenance period of the handicapped workers. In future studies. the influences of the institutional and policy factors that influence overall job rehabilitation on the job maintenance period should be specified.
